PRAYER FOCUS
Pray for understanding of the cur-
rent civil unrest, the agendas, and
the people behind them.
Pray Ps 119:169.
Terrorism: noun The
unlawful use of violence and
intimidation, especially against
civilians, in the pursuit of political
aims. (Oxford-English Dictionary)
Charlottesville—the new normal? Terrorism isn’t just for jihad. Domestic activists use unrest, lawlessness, and violence as tactics. Terror can be launched with bombs and planes, but also through tentacles of influence and involvement in policymaking, front groups, and social organizations. Homegrown. Anarchy. Hate. Violence. The ex-plosive unrest in Charlottesville shows the danger of
the terror agendas that exist in our own nation.
At the root of terror groups is opposition to Je-sus Christ. All terror groups have this common denominator—an aversion to God’s order, God’s Word and God’s people. Some groups are familiar and known, other groups operate in the shadows,
even with harmless-sounding names.
Who are they? What is their agenda? What is their level of influence? How are they impacting our culture? The root of terrorism is a demonic rebellious spirit. All terrorist groups operate outside the law or support lawless behavior. Their violent and intimidating tactics are also evidence of their evil spiritual root. The recent Charlottesville protests are an example of planned violence for a purpose.
Ask the Lord for discernment regarding what you hear in the news. Many of these groups are active and operating in the open as deceptively legitimate organizations—some with noble-sounding names or slick talking points. Do not be
fooled—look at the methods and at the fruit.
Use this Strategic Prayer Guide to give purpose to your prayer time. The guiding Scripture for this prayer effort is Daniel 2:20-22.
Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever; wisdom and power are his. He changes times and seasons; he deposes kings and raises up others. He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to the discerning. He reveals deep and hidden things; he knows what lies in darkness, and light dwells
with him.
Use the prayer journal in each section of this guide to jot down any insights and words from the Lord during your prayer time. Ask God to reveal “deep and hid-den things” pertaining to terrorism in our nation.
Launched in September 2011 by Kalle Lasn, Occupy began as “Occupy Wall Street,” a protest against capitalism and corpo-
rate America. Encamping themselves in a public park, creating mayhem and disruption, Occupy Wall Street grew to other cities and became “Occupy.” A group filled with former ACORN former, and a number of anti-Semites, Occupy is aligned with militant Muslim leaders such as Hatem Abudayyeh, executive director of the Arab-American Action Network and CAIR, the Communist Party USA, Van Jones, Michael
Moore, and Mumia Abu-Jamal . (Pray Is 42:7)
White Supremacists Neo-Nazis, KKK, Aryan Brotherhood, or Skinheads, these groups have been operating in America under
various names for many years. Their hate for Black, Jewish, and other minority people is the keystone to their evil organizations. Operating in secrecy in the past, now many operate in the open, displaying their hatred of minority groups in rallies and protests, and fueling hate through their web-sites and blogs. Richard Spencer operates The National Policy Institute, a self-proclaimed “white supremacist think tank” in the DC area. He coined the phrase “alt-right” to describe their “policy positions.” This is why this term should NEVER be used to describe any legitimate organization, especially Christian and traditional values groups. (Pray Col 1:13-14)
Antifa
Antifa sounds like it might be a good thing, taking its name from “anti-fascism.” But the tactics and goals of the Antifa align more with the intimidation and violence of
anarchists. Masked and operating in the shadows with violence, mayhem, and secrecy, the Antifa have succeeded at creating small armies of violent disrupters who are hard to trace or arrest. Aligned with, and in awe of, the Marxist revolution and writings, they are anarchists and communists. Their tactics have a singular aim—destruction. As one writer on their website, ItsGoingDown.com, puts it: “What are we trying to do? We’re trying to destroy the world. “ They often work in tandem with Black Lives Matter because of their common enemy in law enforcement. Some of their funding comes from sources such as George Soros, but most of it trickles in from unknown sources via Kickstarter and via
bitcoin. (Pray Jn 10:10)
Black Lives Matter Birthed as a response to the acquittal of the man who killed Trayvon Martin in
Florida, Black Lives Matter (BLM) has since created a violent police vs. blacks narrative, calling for violence and resistance to law enforcement. Funding for BLM is familiar, including Soros’s Open Society Founda-tion, the Ford Foundation, and Google. Activists Patrisse Cullors, DeRay McKesson, and others have also expanded BLM’s aim and message, pro-moting the LGBTQ agenda and divestment from Isra-el. The 61% increase in officers shot and killed on duty in 2016 is due in part to the violent rhetoric and actions of the Black Lives Matter group. (Pray Eph 2:1-5)
PRAYER FOCUS Pray about domestic terrorist organizations—that the truth would be revealed about their funding and strategic involvement, and that these players would be transformed for Christ.
Manuals of the activist groups show a variety of conscious tactics to spread their message, resist the authorities, and take
action for their cause.
Violence-Instilling fear and
intimidation is key to their protests. Handbooks by anarchists even include recipes for building bombs, booby-traps, homemade explosives, and riot
gear.
Doxxing– A means of
smearing someone on the opposition, doxxing is the public release of personal information —social security number, address, medical records, phone number—in order to
cause harm.
Shutting down speech-Stifling speakers with loud noises and/or violence, creating protests that threaten a speaker’s safety and lead to cancellation of a speaking engagement, or disrupting an event, leading to cancellation
due to safety concerns.
Resisting police-Not only
action against the police, but also abetting and covering for
other violent activists.
PRAYER FOCUS
Pray that those who operate in secret to harm and plot rebellion would not succeed.
Pray Psalm 64.

Pray about preserving freedom of speech in our nation. Pray that biblical values would not be considered “hate speech.”
Pray Jeremiah 7:8.
What if you could not even call a terrorist a terrorist?
Hamstringing those who oppose their agenda with labels of racism and bigotry is one way terrorists are allowed to continue their message, while hampering those who are countering it. The most effective way to counter free speech is to render it “hate speech,” not protected under the First Amendment. PayPal, YouTube and Facebook have all censored groups they classify as “hate groups” or objectionable because of
their traditional biblical values or anti-jihad stance.
Free speech is for everyone.
The First Amendment guarantees the right to free speech—for all American citizens. That means those we disagree with have the same right to free speech that we do—it is foundational to our freedom. When people are denied the right to speak peacefully—even if some or most will find it distasteful, wrong, or even hateful, then free speech becomes a right for some, but not all. Determining what is hate speech is subjective. Some think that quoting Scripture, sharing pro-life posters and pictures, and espousing personal biblical beliefs on social issues is “hate speech.” By declaring it “hate speech,” it becomes prohibited and indefensible. The Supreme Court disagreed in a 2017 decision, but that hasn’t stopped pundits, activists, and the media. An example of free speech being squashed for people of certain ideologies occurred on the UC Berkeley campus before the scheduled appearance of conservative speakers Milo Yiannapoulos, Ben Shapiro, and Ann Coulter (three separate appearances in 2017). Violent protests organized by
Yvette Falarca, Black Lives Matter, Antifa, and others led to the University’s cancellation of multiple conservative speakers. Even subsequent attempts at
rescheduling with more security failed.
What about Charlottesville?
Neo-Nazis assembled to protest the removal of confederate statues, as well as to spew hate. What they stand for is wrong and evil, but it is speech
protected by the First Amendment to the Constitution.
Antifa counter-protesters were also scheduled, and permitted by the city, to assemble and speak (similarly protected by the First Amendment), but in a separate location. Eyewitness Charlottesville ministry leader Jon Quesenberry reported that over ninety-five per-cent of all the participants were from out of town. Not only that, but almost half of the participants were from out of state. He believes his city simply became a staging place for these agitators who were looking for a place to promote their agenda. ….That clash is not one side “haters” and the other side “lovers.” It’s not
that at all.’
Quesenberry told IFA, “What I saw at the rally was two types of haters because there were terrible things being said by the protesters, but…it was the same coming from the counter-protesters….Education and empathy are not going to increase capacity for people to love one another. What’s purely needed now is spiritual awakening and it starts with mass
repentance.”
We know who is ultimately behind all the hatred and the violence. We also know who can bring peace and
Adolf Hitler and the Muslim Brotherhood had a common enemy in the Jewish people. Forged in 1928, the Muslim Brotherhood sought a return to religious Islam. Its rise to power was fueled by the hatred of the Jews. Membership in the Muslim Brotherhood swelled in 1938 as Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany was advancing. Both movements sought dominance based on a belief in their inherent superiority.
Hajj Amin al-Husseini , the Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, transplanted Nazi genocide to the Middle East, creating an Islamic Fascist hybrid in the Muslim Brotherhood. He was close to Hitler and a paid Nazi agent. In fact, Hitler and the Grand Mufti used similar propaganda, plans, swastikas, and children’s organizations. The personal memoirs of the Grand Mufti show that he had also planned a death camp, modeled on Auschwitz, to be constructed near Nablus for the systematic genocide of Palestine’s Jews.
The Grand Mufti was the head of the Muslim Brotherhood and the foremost Muslim spiritual leader of his time.
PRAYER FOCUS
Pray about the groups and agendas associated with Islamic terror. These groups are adamantly contrary to Christ and God’s Word. We know that we do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against spiritual forces of darkness. Pray Ephesians 6:12.
CAIR
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR)describes itself as the Islam-ic equivalent to the NAACP, but former chief of the FBI's counterterrorism section,
Oliver Revell, links CAIR to Islamic Association of Palestine, a front group for the designated, state-sponsored terror group HAMAS. Several key leaders, both in the past and recently, have given credence, funding, and allegiance to HAMAS. Still welcome on campuses and covered by media as a legitimate voice, CAIR has inserted itself into our national political and social system, representing not America, but HAMAS, Palestine and their extremist views. Nihad Awad, pictured above, is the President of CAIR. National Board Chair for
CAIR is Roula Allouch.
Muslim Brotherhood
Perhaps the most entrenched and insidiously connected Islamic terror group is the Muslim Brotherhood (MB). The Muslim Brotherhood is the father of groups such as Al Qaeda, ISIS, and others. The “jihadi” groups spawned from Muslim Brotherhood may be more well known, but behind them is the Muslim Brotherhood. With ties across the world, and cooperation among multiple regional Islam terror organizations, the Muslim Brotherhood is active in America as well. Brigitte Gabriel, founder of ACT for America and terrorism expert, shares the Muslim Brotherhood’s master plan for domination in North America, entitled The Project. According to ACT, and the State Department, which provided this document in the Holy Land Foundation trial, it is a comprehensive plan, charting the groundwork of jihadists for establishing an Islamic government in North America. Their organizational chart shows many connected groups promoting Islamic influence
in America.
What is the danger of Islamic influence in our nation? Founding DHS member and author Philip Haney, explains how the Quran and Islam is contrary to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Haney points out that the heart of the Islamic religion is the destruction of the Covenant that God promises to believers. The Quran teaches there is no crucifixion of Christ, that Jesus is not the son of God, and that Mohammed is the “Messenger”—playing the role of the Holy Spirit in Islam. Their war with America is a war against the founding principles of America—Judeo-Christian values rooted in Scripture and faith in the God of the Bible. According to their plan and beliefs, Islamic domination is a right, Christians are but fleas, and that lies and manipulation (Taqiyya) are an acceptable means to a holy end. Here you can find the experience of an Iranian Muslim who left Islam
and shares the inside perspective.
Throughout the U.S. government, there are officials who accept the Muslim Brotherhood as a valid organization, sympathize with their beliefs, and oppose Israel at all costs because of the influence of the MB. Judicial Watch published a study that shows many documented instances where U.S. officials, under the direction of then-FBI Director Robert Mueller, purposely purged or altered information that labeled, tagged, or indicated Muslim involvement in terror activities.
