PROFILE OF ELECTRONICS &
TELECOMMUNICATION DEPARTMENT
(EXTC)
Electronics and telecommunication (EXTC), Department was
founded in the year 2012. It is well equipped with modern Equipment’s
and basic amenities. The department consists of young and energetic
faculty members. Besides scheduled responsibilities they are also engaged
in Research and Development activities and continuous study in their
respective areas of specialization.
About the Short-Term Training Program
Fire Bird V provides an excellent environment for experimentation,
algorithm development and testing. Fire Bird V are being used in IIT
Bombay to teach embedded systems and robotics. Its modular architecture
allows to control it using multiple processors such as 8051, AVR, PIC and
ARM7.
PROGRMME CONTENTS
Day 1: Introduction to Firebird V and Atmel Studio.
Day 2: ATMEGA 2560 Interrupts, PWM and ADC.
Day 3: ATMEGA 2560 Timer, RFID, ZigBee and SPI.
DAY 4: Introduction to LPC 2148 and Keil.
DAY 5: Arduino and myRIO controller programming with LabVIEW
