S. Ghandhy College of Engineering and Technology, Surat at Mahida Bhavan, IEI-SGLC, Ichchhanath, Surat, dated 16 th January 2020. There were around 70 participants (Diploma students, Faculties and Research Scholars / Industrial delegates) who participated (Presentations and Attendee) in the seminar. Total five keynote sessions were scheduled on the theme of the seminar. The seminar is intended to provide an outstanding opportunity for researchers, academicians and industrial communities alike to address new trends and challenges, developments in wet processes for eco-friendly and green processes towards sustainability. Eco-friendly approach include measures such as reduction and prevention in pollution load, reduction in input resources, waste minimization and quality & process control. It involves better chemical management and housekeeping, substitution of toxic and hazardous materials, process modifications, and reuse of waste products. Er. Kirti Sethna, Chairmen, Er. Dipak Patel, Hon. Secretary of IE(I)-SGLC, Surat, Shri N. A. Sangani, Principal, Shri R. G. Patel, Head-DTPT, Shri R. M . Pandya, Sr. Lecturer-DTPT, Dr. S. &. S. S. Ghandhy College of Engineering & Technology, Surat, and invited Chief guests are Shri A. G. Modi, Retired HOD-DTPT, DGCET, Surat and Shri S. B. Naik, President Bhutpurva Vidhyarthi Mandal, DGCET, Surat, and coordinators of the entire one day seminar Mr. Mustafa Baxamusa, Asst General Manager, Rossari Biotech Ltd. and Shri B. U. Mehta, Trustee of BVM, DGCET have shared the dais. The entire one day seminar was arranged and managed by Er. Pavan D. Panwala, who is lecturer in Department of Textile Processing Technology at Dr. S. &. S. S. Ghandhy College of Engineering & Technology, Surat. He is also active member of Bhutpurva Vidhyarthi Mandal of DGCET and IE(I)-SGLC, Surat. All dignitaries, participants and attendees have attended the inaugural ceremony. The program has been initiated with Sarswati Vandana followed by the lamp lighting and floral welcome of the dignitaries. Welcome address was delivered by Chairmen, IE(I)-SGLC Er. Kirti Sethna and Principal, DGCET, Shri N. A. Sangani. Role of alumni association in development of institute was discussed by President, BVM, DGCET, Shri S B. Naik. Introduction of Rossari Biotech Limited was given by Mr. Mustafa Baxamusa, Asst. General Manager, Rossari Biotech Ltd. He emphasized on new developments done by company towards sustainability. Shri R. M. Pandya briefed about the seminar and program schedule. The event was concluded by the vote of thanks by Shri R. G. Patel.
