Amy Sluis, M.A. Amy Sluis is an Assistant Professor of Art History at Lone Star College University Park, where she has taught since 2017. She currently teaches Art Appreciation, Art History: Prehistoric to Gothic, Art History: Renaissance to Modern, and honors courses in Art History. Her research focuses on cross-cultural sharing of stylistic elements in the art and architecture of Medieval Spain during the 14th century. She has presented her research at institutions including Oklahoma State University, The University of North Texas, and The Newberry Library in Chicago.
