DIFFA DINING BY DESIGN
African Weaver BirdThe African weaver bird collects materials from its surroundings to build nests. The design mimics this process as found materials are woven together to create a comfortable dining environment. Each component contributes to creating an experience greater than the sum of its individual parts. Similarly, we must all weave together as a collective community to win the fight against AIDS.
Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS is one of the oldest and largest funders of HIV/AIDS service and education programs in the U.S. In 2012, DIFFA’s Dining By Design initiative included sustainability goals, with a mission to reuse, repurpose, and recycle at every aspect of table design and installation.
