Why go to the trouble and expense o arming organic? Plants produce phytonutrients as

a deense mechanism against pests and disease. When crops are sprayed with chemicals

that deend the plants, they dont have to work as hard to produce phytonutrients and the

Caliornia, USA

Our Agricultural Research Farm in Lakeview,

Caliornia, is the primary location where our

arm researchers work to improve existing

NUTRILITE products as well as identiy

nutrients and active ingredients or new

products. Organic arming practices are also

developed and refned here.

Located on 111 acres that used to be a

prehistoric lake bed, the accumulated

nutrient-rich sediment contributes to the arms

ertile topsoil. By eeding the soil with compost

and by using careully tested arming practices,

Nutrilite creates a better soil structure

supplying crops with a vast array o nutrients.

PRIMARY CROPS

The Agricultural Research Farm produces pomegranates and rosemary, as well as many test crops.

As with all NUTRILITE arms, organic arming practices help to ensure that the phytonutrients in the

local volunteers rom the community help raise

organic vegetables or their own use.

In addition, the Nutrilite Agricultural Research

Farm organizes programs with local schools,

TROUT LAKE FARM

Washington state, USA

Measuring 700 acres, Trout Lake Farm is

the largest certifed organic herb arm in

North America. Located in the oothills o the

Cascade Mountains, the arms irrigation is

provided by the White Salmon River, ed by

glaciers rom the mountains.

Trout Lake valley where the arm is located is all

organic there is no conventional arming in the

valley and the surrounding mountains help keep

out pollution and contaminants.

FAZENDA NUTRIORGANICA

Ubajara, Brazil

Fazenda Nutriorganica is the largest NUTRILITE

arm. The arm provides an ideal climate to

produce acerola cherries year-round. The

cherries grown there provide 100% o the natural

ascorbic acid (vitamin C) used in NUTRILITE

products. Over 300 head o cattle on the arm

provide natural ertilizer or the crops.

All 4,100 acres are certifed 100% organic, and

most plant pest and disease problems are solved

preventively by providing balanced organic
