sales location in Amsterdam selling tickets on the day of the

By providing an annual contribution, MICE part-ners structurally
support the promotion of the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area as a
leading (inter)national MICE destination, both in the Netherlands
and abroad. MICE partners also benefit from ac-tive support in the
acquisition of conventions.

Business Marketing & Conventions uses the contributions

The MICE Package offers partners:
* The Clusters & Conventions project is a collaboration
between congress professionals in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area.
Expertise in the region is grouped and divided into eight economic
clusters. Within each cluster, Clusters & Conventions has
valuable partners that can play an important role during the
acquisition and organisation of conventions (for example, as
speakers or participants in think tanks or discussion panels). This
helps to make the content of subjects addressed at congresses more
comprehensive and form links between specific conventions and the
expertise present in the Amsterdam Metropolitan Area. The eight
clusters are: Financial and Business Services, ICT & E-Science,
Creative Industries, Logistics, Life Sciences, Flowers & Food,
Tourism & Conferences, High Tech Materials.
** The NAP initiative is a knowledge platform aimed at
im-proving the quality of international, scientific conventions in
Amsterdam with the ultimate objective of raising the profile of the
capital as a city of knowledge. Meetings & Conventions are an
excellent means of achieving this goal due to the fact that the
exchange of know-ledge is one of the most significant reasons for
organising a conference. The NAP initiative meets once a month to
discuss the most effective approach to adopt in order to achieve
its objective. The NAP initiative is represented by ambassadors
with a proven track record of attracting scientific conferences to
Amsterdam.
MICE partners are also invited to utilise this knowledge
platform to assist their own convention acquisition efforts (only
possible via AM).
*** The MICExperience is the Amsterdam Metropoli-tan Areas
leading Meeting & Conventions
networking event. This two-day networking event unites domestic
and international convention and meeting organisers with AMs MICE
partners. The intensive pro-gramme includes site inspections, guest
speakers, networking sessions, informal lunches and dinners.
