At that time, the company specialized in deep drilled pier foundation construction and pad foundations for substation electrical equipment, transmission lines, wind turbine towers and power plant facilities.

OUR STORYAmerican Site Builders, LLC (ASB) is a minority owned company head-quartered in Amarillo, Texas. It is 100% owed by Dwayne and Debbie Hoving and was established in 2007. Within a span of 6 years, ASB has grown to become a turnkey, self-per-forming supplier of power construction services to meet the demands of a “niche” market. In addition to its initial service offerings, the com-pany added services in the wind farm construction sector and turnkey construction services in the substation and transmission sectors. This includes road construction, pad construction, excavation services, electrical substation construction, lattice assembly and wire pulling for transmission lines. Electrical construction in the energy industry requires technical acu-men, clarity and focus unparalleled to general construction project standards. Tolerances are small and deviations from engineering re-

quirements are not permitted, thus true expertise is essential. We have a proven track record in providing specialized construction services to meet

our client’s environmental needs. Our site work expertise allows us to partner with

our clients to provide access road construction and maintenance, right of way prep,

earthwork for turbine construction and installation of storm water pollution prevention

measures.

Through Best Management Practices (BMP’s) and skilled crews, ASB ensures every

project complies with all applicable regulations. Our crews are well adept at working

in environmentally sensitive areas as well as routine landscapes. The know-how and

OUR TEAMDr. Hoving serves as the Majority Partner and Presi-dent for American Site Builders. In her six years as President of ASB, she has provided overall corporate management, leadership and continued investment. Dr. Hoving’s career spans over sixteen years as an entrepreneur and business owner. She has success-fully managed three companies during her tenure and continues to operate as a minority partner in two other ventures.Dr. Hoving is constantly committed to improving the company’s business climate and culture for its employees and customers. As the daughter of an immigrant from the island of Trinidad and Tobago, she is keenly aware of the challenges that individuals face on a day-to-day basis to improve their lives and remains vigilant in supporting them.Dr. Hoving received a Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Mary’s University and her Doctorate from the Uni-versity of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas. Most of all, being a mom is her greatest joy. She enjoys spending time with her two daughters and traveling with her family.

As the son of a developer and contractor, Dwayne Hoving possesses a lifetime of experience in the con-struction industry. His success as a Business Manager and Entrepreneur spans 16 years across the public and private sectors. Since 2007, Dwayne has served as Co-Owner and CEO for American Site Builders. Prior to joining ASB, Dwayne spent 12 years in the private sector as Coordinator of Psychological and Behav-ioral Services, providing clinical and administrative leadership and oversight for a clinical staff; support-ing 30,000 students and 3,000 educators. Dwayne is Founder and Principal of River Bound, LLC, a private real estate investment firm specializing in acquisition, management and construction, which he oversees in parallel to his role at ASB.In addition to his professional experience, Dwayne earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and a Master of Science Degree from Our Lady of the Lake University.It is his passion for deep sea and fly fishing, however, that influences his leadership style of patience and relationship building.

Byron Logue joined American Site Builders in 2008 as General Operations Manager and Chief Financial Officer. He is responsible for ASB’s day to day financial operations and corporate governance. Byron began his career as a Construction Manager and has advanced upward with various roles of increasing responsibility within the construction industry, over-seeing projects ranging from a few thousand to several million dollars. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business and an MBA in Global Management.Having spent his entire career in the construction industry, Byron possesses a wealth of experience and understanding for every facet of the construction process. This experience, combined by an unwavering commitment to excellence and personal integrity, have prepared him well to lead ASB in our commitment to business excellence and exceptional service to our customers. His contagious energy is directed after busi-ness hours to coaching local youth basketball leagues where he is known as “Coach B”.
