Iamhonoredandhumbledtohavebeenselectedasthissemester’svaledictorianwhich 2 years ago I could have never predicted itwould be me.
Before I begin to sharemy experience here in ADTP, I’d like toexpress my gratitude and appreciation to the ones who made thispossibleforme.I’dliketothankmyparentsforgivingmetheopportunity to further my studies here in Sunway ADTP and for alwaysbeingsupportive inwhatever Iwishtopursue,especiallyunderstandingwhyIhadtochangemymajortwiceinaspanof2years! Sending me here was definitely a splurge for them and it’s what kept me motivated to make every cent and second worth it andIhopestandingheretodayprovedthatitwas.

I was put in and the best things I’ve gained are definitely therelationshipsI’veformedwiththepeoplehere.I’vemadelifelongfriends,triedalotofnewthings,andmostimportantly,IstartedtobelievethatIwascapableofdoingthingsIthoughtIcouldn’t.
Beingapart of a team, theCAEstudent committeewasoneofthebestthingsI’veeversignedupfor.Notgoingto lie, itwasachallenge especially with all the workload I volunteered to doandontopofthat, tryingtokeepmygradesup.Furthermore, thischallenge multiplied during my time in the office as president of CAESCfor2 terms. However, forall thetimes Ialmostgaveupand called it quits, the only thing that kept me going was my team, who have been one of the best support systems that was close to me. These people were encouraging, and always inspiring me to go beyond my limits.
BeforeIclose,I’dliketotakethisopportunitytoaddresssomethingI stand by. As an environmentalist, I believe that it’s everyone’sresponsibility to take personal measures in combating climate change by being cautious with your own carbon footprints. Becautious with your consumptions and live sustainably.
Thank you.
