2. AMBEDKAR STADIUM

LOCATION :

The stadium is in the central delhi in delhi gate region and is next to quietly famous feroz shah kotla stadium .

ENTANCE :

There are 7 entrances to the stadium and only 1 entrance is kept open during off season ,which is the main entrance .

The main entrance has no security and just a steel gate on it .

Width of main entrance foyer : 4.5 meters Length of main entrance foyer : 6.4 meters

From the main foyer two galleries leads to the lowerstands and the football ground and two sets of staircase leads to the upper stand .

There are no seats on the stands and just levels areconstructed similar to an amphitheatre .The stands though can accommodate 35,000 persons .

Width of levels : 0.97 meters Height of levels : 0.27 meters

Only 100 seats are in the levels for the audience which are also poorly maintained .

ROOFING /SHEDS :The roofing is provided to the stand of only one side and is reinforced concrete cement .

The other stands are without any roof and shed .There are only 2 toilets in the building and 2 more toilets in the stands .

There is no parking facilities for the stadium.
