Layers of different colored sandstone and minerals were pressed together over 24 million years and then buckled up by tectonic plates. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I did.

It reminds me of the little joke I recently saw about a little girl who saw such a beautiful thing as that
and remarked that it's even more wonderful considering God did it all left handed.
Somebody asked why she thought He did it all left handed?
