Responsibilities of MC as LC Coach
Communications
From the MC to LC: o What is the MC doing o How does the national
plan, national focus areas, and national strategies look like
From the LC to MC: o LC’s feedback to the MC o Needs for support from MC o Providing the bigger
picture from overall analysis of the LC to support each functional MCVP in the operations in the LC level
o Writing an LC Visit report after each meeting with the LC, to the MCP and to relevant MCVPs.
Analysis of LC’s current realities:
o Identifying strengths and weaknesses
o Identifying support needed from the MC
o Bottlenecks and growth opportunities
Supporting LC’s plan and strategy creation:
o Regularly revising the LC plan and strategies with the LCP
o Making the LC plan and strategies are aligned and complementary to the MCs.
Coaching LCP and LCEBs: o Regular giving feedback and recommendation to LCP.
o Being present for consultation with the EBs
Note: Each LC Coach would require the cooperation of their LC’s LCPs to
communicate with them from time to time. LC Coaching is done through LC visits and/or meets (physical/virtual) The LC Coaches are to coach on LC operations whereas the MCP shall act as the
coach for LCPs on personal development and team management of the LCPs.

Responsibilities of LC Coachee to Coach
Holding their LC coach accountable to his/her coaching
responsibilities
Being the main point of contact between the MC and LC members
Giving inputs and expectations to the LC visit and meeting to the
LC Coach
Keeping the coach updated/informed of the LC realities
(activities/projects/initiatives)
Seeking help and mentoring from the coach, when needed,
especially in highly-demanding situations
Proactively seeking for inputs and recommendation from the
coach – on plan and its execution.
LC coaches will not be focusing on their own function during the
coaching meets. The main goal is to help the LC develop equally
in all areas during these meets.
LC coach is a consultant and advisor of the LCP – not the whole
EB team. The LC coach is working with LCP on the overall plan
for the whole LC.
After every meeting, the LC coach prepares a short report about
the current situation of the LC, which should include: main
realizations from the meeting, action steps and follow-up
required for each MC.
The whole process of LC coaching is prepared, tracked and
controlled by MCP and MC VP Local Committee Development
