Ten sessions 8:05AM to 9:05AM and $100 registration, unless otherwise stated in description. Courses need a minimum of ten registrants by Oct. 2nd to run.
Courses are capped based on teacher recommendation
Monday
Title: Cinderella Stories Around the World Teacher: Gayle Ulman Grade(s): 3rd
Reg. Max: 20 Description: The students will read and analyze different Cinderella stories told around the world. They will look at similarities and differences, compare and contrast, learn how character and setting affects the story, and conflict and resolution. The course will culminate with the students writing their own Cinderella stories.
Tuesday
Title: JFK Daily News Teacher: Janet Anne Rumble Grade(s): 3rd to 5th
Reg. Max: 20 Description: Students will learn to use the Touchcast app to create a daily news broadcast to be used for morning announcements. Although this is a limited enrichment course at the beginning of the school year, students will be expected to continue to create news broadcasts and train other students through the entire school year.
Thursday
Title: JFK Drama Club (Part 1) Teacher: Janet Anne Rumble Grade(s): 5th
Reg. Max: 20 Description: In part 1 of this enrichment course, students will prepare an audition using iPad technology for this year's school production of "The Wizard of Oz." Students will receive a part in the production and work on development of character and memorization of lines. All students who participate will receive a part in the production and will be required to participate in JFK Drama Club Part 2: Staging and Performance, as well as perform in the show in February.
Title: Basketball Teacher: Roger Telsey Grade(s): 4th
Reg. Max: 25 Description: This course is provided for 4th grade students seeking fun and exciting instruction in basketball. Shooting, passing and dribbling skills will be taught in depth with game play as a culminating activity. All skill levels are welcomed.

Reg. Max: 25 Description: This course is provided for 5th grade students seeking fun and exciting instruction in basketball. Shooting, passing and dribbling skills will be taught in depth with game play as a culminating activity. All skill levels are welcomed.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
1. Registration deadline is TWO WEEKS prior to start date. 2. 2% transaction fee is applied to all credit card transactions. 3. NO REFUNDS after the program registration deadline. A $10.00 processing fee will be
deducted from refund. 4. In the event of program cancelation due to low enrollment a full refund will be issued. 5. If the district closes operations due to inclement weather or any other reason, enrichment
programs will be cancelled for that day. All reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule cancelled programs.

temporary User Name and Password. You will be able to personalize this
temporary User Name and Password.
Select the appropriate household member for registration. (Your child must be in the appropriate program grade level.)
Submit payment information into the system. Print Sales Receipt.
