This group provides a safe place to address individual struggles in dealing with hurt,rejection, habits and hang-ups in the context of a Bible-based recovery program. Thegroup offers an opportunity for members to find an Accountability Partner or Sponsor.Throughprayer,devotionals,study,fellowship,sharingandoutreach,wewillsupportoneanotherthroughourindividualjourneys.IntentionallyleaningonGodaswehealfromouraddictive, compulsive, dysfunctional, or self-destructive behaviors. The truth, strength,andfreedomyouwillgainfromthisgroupwillresultinpeace,serenityandjoyinyourlivesas we strengthen our relationship with God, and one another. The Group Leader willfollowCelebrateRecovery's"SmallGroupGuidelines."
To provide FirstMount Zionmembers and the community, informational resources andeducationtoaideintheplanningofEndofLifeCaredecisionsandrequirements.Thisisamaturesupportgroupforumthatprovidesahealthy,stressfreeenvironmenttostimulateandengage inmeaningfuldiscussiontoensure thatyourdesires forcareareknownandrespected. The group reviews selected online FMZ sermons, then later meet to share thoughts,insights, lifeexperiences,andapplications. Bymeetingwithoneanotherandsharingwestrivetobuildnewrelationships,gainadeepenperspectiveofGod’sWordandTeachings,andsharetheGoodNewsoftheGospel.
The goal for this group is to intentionally read/study biblically focused books thatempowers each to gain greater knowledge ofGod’swisdom, love, kindness and healingpowers. Through fellowship andmeetings,wewill grow together in theWord of JesusChrist.WewillshareHisGoodNews.
Thisdiversegroupofyoungdisciples ranges from1st to11thgraders. Thegroupmeetsonce a month, and is grouped according to their school grade levels and number ofattendees. Thegroupengages in selectedBiblicalbasedactivitiesdesigned to representChrist in a fun-filled atmosphere, while cultivating relationships outside of their normalschoolacademics.Throughvariousgames,activates,andfellowshipwearenurturedandloved ina Christ-likeenvironment,andwehave funaswecontinue togrowtobecomeyoungdisciplesofChrist.
