HOW TO USEBefore using your Alter Ego duo, please wash all the parts except the water filter.

Remove straw cap from bottle. Thread new filter onto assembly. (if needed)

Remove sticker from filter bottom.

Fill the bottle with water through the top or bottom lid.

Insert the straw cap into the bottle. (if needed)

Drink from straw while bottle is upright.

Apply pressure on the bottle to help squeeze water out. Do not tilt the bottle while drinking.

CLEANINGBottle and caps are dishwasher safe. Hand-wash for a longer life time.

DO NOT wash the water filter with any soap or detergent. DO NOT put the water filter and/or filled bottle in the freezer. DO NOT fill with hot water or anything other than fresh water(no salt water).

STORAGEFor long-term storage, blow out excess water from filter and let dry 24 h-48 h in open air.

IPM 6-LOGIPM 6-LOG is an iodinated media engineered to effectively reduce waterborne pathogens by 99.9999 % (6-LOG Kill Rating), including yeasts, molds, fungi, bacteria, and virus. The IPM 6-LOG is an EPA registered iodinated resin (EPA Reg# : 35917-2).

BPA FREE PLASTICSAll Alter Ego plastic materials are made using PP#5 plastic and Eastman Tritan copolymer, which are non-toxic, food-grade and BPA free resins.
