Altar Server Newsletter -June 2018- MESSAGE FROM YOUR LEADERS: Happy Summer! Finishing a school year is not an easy feat. It is a Blessing. We must be proud of our accomplishments: especially to those graduating seniors and graduating 8 th graders. As I stated in the last meeting there are 5 things to keep in mind as you transition to a different level of education: (1) Never forget to attend Sunday Mass; (2) You will be exposed to new cultures, ideas, and experiences. Embrace and respect them – it’s what starting a new journey is about.; (3) BUT remember to LIMIT yourself and stay true to the teachings that Your Faith and your community has taught you. (4) The transition will be challenging, but always pray to God to give you strength. (5) Join student groups and organizations that interest you. God Bless all of you always, Eldrin Masangkay Congratulations to our Graduating Seniors. Thank you for your service and dedication to God and Holy Family Church! REMINDERS PART I
MANDATORY: END OF THE YEAR SURVEY (DUE BY June 30, 2018)
As we did last year, we need all Altar Servers with their parents to respond to the following survey. This is the only way we will be
able to update CONTACT INFORMATION and MASS PREFERENCE. We will also learn about suggestions to improve the ministry.

Holy Family is hosting a volunteer appreciation dinner for our active volunteers in the parish. We would like to extend this invitation to all members of this ministry! Please let us know ASAP if you want to attend. Location @ Holy Family High School Lawn.
New Cassocks and Surplices
The new garments are now hung in the Sacristy. Please clean up after yourselves by handing your garments appropriately.
REMINDERS PART II
Absences List
Ryan Vargas sent out an ABSENCES LIST a couple of days ago. I believe there are some make up days that are missing from some
of the meetings and events that we had. We will correct those and send a corrected version within the next couple of weeks. Please
email us with other discrepancies that you find.
New Sacristans!
Nicholas Geraci and Nathan Valdecantos have been appointed as new Sunday sacristans. Daniel Magahis will transition from
Saturday to Sunday Sacristan. Erika Consebido has been appointed as new Saturday Sacristan. Congratulations and we wish you
the best in your new roles. They will be training throughout the months of June and July.
Other things to look out for this summer:
1. Please continue to serve throughout the Summer months! If you are unable to serve, please find a substitute immediately.
All servers including graduating seniors will continue their usual service until the July 2018 schedule. All grade changes and
Mass preference changes will be reflected on the August 2018 schedule.
2. Please send us an email by June 10th for any July vacations.
3. Summer-get-together in early August. (Mentioned in survey)
