All restaurants will be converting from Aloha Manager to Aloha Configuration Center (CFC)

by ________ (date). We need to do this because __________.

You will get an email letting you know the exact day of your conversion. You will see the

changes reflected (after running end of day? System refresh? Automatically?)

The differences between Aloha Manager and CFC are very minimal. The functionality should

be almost identical. The way it looks on the screen is the biggest change.

If you have any issues during the conversion, please reach out to RTG.

Overview of Changes

Favorites Bar

The Favorites Bar from Aloha Manager is also present in Configuration Center. The new

version has all of the same functions, but does not have the icons that Aloha Manager has.

Job Codes

Job Codes are slightly different in Configuration Center as well.

You will now need to go to the Jobcodes tab and then

click the Add button. This will bring up a drop-down

menu with the same job codes as before.

Aloha Manager Aloha CFC

Previously, you could edit job codes, pay rates, and

access levels just by going to the Job Codes tab.

Refreshing the POS

Refreshing the POS is similar to the existing process in Aloha Manager. Click on Utilities > POS > Re-

fresh POS and All Installed Products.

Terminations

The name of the tab where you go to change an employee’s status has change. It is now

called Status. Here you will be able to change an employee from “Active” to “Terminated.”

Reports

The way you get to your standard reports is slightly different. You will still go through the Reports tab,

but now you will also select Aloha Point-of-Sale.

Employee Maintenance

Employee maintenance is similar in Aloha Configuration Center as it is in Aloha Manager. One notable

difference is with Above Store users.

In CFC, each user by default is a POS Only user.

Any user that needs access to Aloha reports will need

System Access to be set as POS and above store.

In the Above Store Settings tab, you can change their

Security role, and Reset password
