ALM Octane & Azure DevOps IntegrationsThere are 2 Integrations between ALM Octane & Azure DevOps provided byMicro Focus:
1. Synchronization between Backlog Items from Azure DevOps to ALM Octane and vice versa – This Integration is using Micro Focus Connect
2. Continuous Integration of Azure DevOps acting as a pipeline and populating pipeline runs into ALM Octane
Both Integration extend the Azure DevOps capabilities towards ContinuousQuality Management and DevOps Analytics. In this document, we will look intothe Synchronization using MF Connect.
Introduction to Micro Focus Connect
Micro Focus Connect is a tool used to synchronize item and relationship data between various Micro Focus change and configuration management systems and other repositories or clients. Once data is synchronized into the system, all of the change management capabilities of the system, including versioning, branching, tracing, labeling, and reporting, are available on that data.

Generate Client Id & Secret
In ALM Octane - goto Settings > Shared Space > API Access and generate a new API client id & secret for the synchronization
