Hello, colleagues!

this issue is a little bit late, as you are already used to, but this time we really have a good reason - we have been receiving interesting articles till yesterday.

so, in this issue you will meet many new events that happened in allterCo worldwide and you will face one of the “fundamentals” of the company - steph, also the latest project of the company.

and, of course, it was time to create a new section and it is already here: from now on we will try to present you our colleagues’ voyages in every issue to come – the way they have seen the place, how they felt it and expe-rienced it.

bookS ForGe took tHe PrizeFor e-buSiNeSS oN a cereMoNy oF bait`S awardS

the Bait`s award for e-business was awarded to Books forge of allterco by the jury. the competition is carried out under the patronage of the president of Bulgaria rosen plevneliev.

the ceremony took place on 5th of february in “sofia grand Hotel “, and among the officials were deputy prime minister meglena Kuneva and economy minister Bozhidar lukarski. Books forge is a kind of mobile library or literally “smithy of books”, where each book is a separate application.

the idea behind Books forge, on the one hand, is to give people a rich library of their favorite Bulgarian and foreign works that fit in their pockets. on the other hand, the project is an easy and convenient way which allows young writers to develop and sell their works and the publishing companies to reach a new, modern and fast-growing market. Currently over 20,000 downloads are registered in Books forge and there are works of “trud” publishing house and “Ciela” publishing house.

two startups shared a prize for the best startup - “dzhampido” and “ transmetrix “. the award for business innovation of an organization was given to “telerik” for its eponymous software platform.

allterCo received a special recognition for the support of its longtime partner, UniCef. as a regular donor and benefactor to the causes of UniCef, allterCo again gave a free contribution for the successful campaign “future without violence for every child”.

in november 2014 btV and UniCef jointly launched a social campaign to raise public awareness of the problems with child abuse, its consequences and how to provide support and care for victims. Besides the information and the campaigns that took place, the culmination of the initiative was a charity tV format, which took place on 24th of January 2015. the purpose of the charity concert was to raise funds for building up a “protection zone” - advocacy Center and support.

the service will be provided in three areas in Bulgaria and will provide health, psychological and legal assistance to children and women who are victims of violence. Basic approach will be environmentally sensitive treatment of the victims and their families, who will work with all the experts gathered in one place (a doctor, a psychologist, a social worker, a lawyer, etc.).

at the same time on 17th of february a meeting was held with the partners of UniCef for Bulgaria. the event was held in “radisson” hotel with representatives of institutions, government and business.

the world’s most famous service for fB analytics, six times in a row rewards one with a certificate for “socially devoted” company. this recognition is given to one for its extraordinary performance in “communicating with customers” on the fB page of the company (www.facebook.com/one.mk) for Q4, 2014. in the past 4 months of the last year, one has 100% “response rate” to all questions, comments and posts on facebook.

“from all six, this certificate is special because our social media teams managed to respond to 100% of the questions, comments and posts on fB. one commits big attention to its communication on the social media and for that purpose, the company has created special teams who work dedicated at all one social media profiles. for us, the social media are channels for communicating with the customers as important as all other formal channels of the company. with this practice, we are closer to our customers, they are closer to us”, stated Viktor donevski, Chief marketing director in one.

during four consequential saturdays (14.03, 21.03, 28.03 and 04.04) esprit`s fans can participate in the competition in style and fashion, which is jointly organized by esprit and allterCo. Creating a team of two people, every fan of the brand can present his style in several different fashion themes - City Chic, Black and white, french Casual and denim Blue. experienced stylists, makeup artists and hair stylists will help everyone to create a real “chic” look.

during the fashion “wars”, a team of a professional operator and a photographer will capture every exciting moment and every vision. after that in facebook app, specially developed by allterco, the audience can vote and broadcast their favorite one.

for this year allterCo had representatives to the world’s largest mobile technologies exhibition, held in Barcelona. our guys, mirce atanasovski and dimo dimov, had a lot of meetings of the highest business level.

the result: a lot of positive feedback from existing customers and many requests for cooperation from future ones.

as highlights of the event were pointed services like direct Carrier Billing, Bulk on direct connectivity and especially - iot - connected devices and wearables.

the digital audience engaged with newspaper content reached a new peak in January 2015, totaling 173 million adult unique visitors. the count is a 19% increase from the 146 million unique visitors measured by comscore in January 2014.

developments in technology continue to change the way people acquire news and information. the impressive growth and high reach of newspaper digital content across all age segments is a powerful demonstration of the vitality of the newspaper industry in the changing media environment.

the use of mobile devices—smartphones and tablets—has pushed the audience for newspaper digital content to new height over the past year. the number of these adults using mobile exclusively for newspaper digital content rose 73% from January 2014 to January 2015, adding up to more than 68 million unique visitors.

the fastest growing segment among the mobile-only consumers of newspaper digital content was with women age 18-24. this group at the youngest end of the millennial generation more than doubled in the past year, growing 155% (see chart). the second-highest growth rate occurred with men age 34-44, which jumped 122%. groups which experienced an increase higher than the overall growth of 73% included women 45-54 (94%) and women 55 and older (86%).

the mobile-only segment of newspaper digital content consumers is now larger than both those who used only desktops or laptop devices, and those who use a combination of mobile and desktop or laptop (see chart).

the mobile-only segment accounted for 39% of adult unique visitors in January 2015. less than one-third (28%) of the audience was composed of those who used a combination of both mobile and desktop or laptops. those who use desktop or laptop devices, but not mobile ones, comprised 32% of the newspaper digital audience. a year ago, in January 2014, the desktop/laptop only group represented the largest segment (41%) of the audience.

the overwhelming proportion of adults online in January 2015 engaged with newspaper digital content. more than eight out of ten adults online (82%) during that month used their digital devices to engage with, consume, read, or watch content from newspaper media (see chart).

newspaper digital content had the highest net reach among two groups: women age 25-34 (91%) and men 35-44 (also 91%). other demographic groups that exceeded the overall adult visitor reach included women 35-44 (88%) and men 55 or older (84%). reach among women 45-54 equaled the overall adult level (82%), and men 18-24 almost met that level (81%).

Budka is a newsstand platform, gathering all newspapers and magazines in Bulgaria. downloading the application is absolutely free for the user. then, each one of them can download his favorite magazine and subscribe only for it. the first download of a magazine or a newspaper is always free.

Budka is a free app available for download from each user with android. But when downloaded once, Budka provides its users with a catalogue of newspapers and magazines, available for subscription. each user has its own Budka account in the app. after a subscription for a magazine, the user sees his Budka account.

budka• the product is the first one on the market and provides

lower prices of the magazines than the ones on paper.

• the other plus is that you can read your favorite maga-zine just by having your mobile with you.

• also, once downloaded, the magazine can be read offline. so no data issues.

• and another bonus is that if once the subscriber down-loads a magazine, then deletes it and wants to read it again, they only have to download it again, without pay-ing for it.

• the project is dynamic, with updates each week and regular updates available for the user’s best experience. the final beta pre-launch version is ready since the begining of march.

• negotiations with magazines and newspapers continue every day. we already have nat geo, Biograph, 8, 24 chasa, trud, etc. we continue with sBB group - Cosmo-politan, elle, Bazaar, story, men’s Health, Bliasak, Kids, moeto dete, etc.

Stefy, how did you get your job in Teracomm, how many years ago and have you ever thought to quit this job?

i worked for companies of the holding even before the establishment of terra Communications com-pany. since 2003 the company has that name and i am honored to be part of it. initially i have cooper-ated in the accounting and in 2006 i was officially appointed in teracomm. But i have never thought of leaving this company.

she has unique laugh, warm and kind eyes. she is one of the dinosaurs of teracomm.

You open the door of the accountant’s office and you are greeted with a smile. to be an account-ant is a diagnosis, but this is an exception at our office. You can find understanding, help and professionalism here.

she has two daughters, two wonder-ful dogs (Huskies) and a smile for millions. she is stefka Vladeva.

Spassy, Gerry, Terra and Raia (Heaven) are your life outside the office. Tell us more about them!

spassy is my older daughter and i am very proud of her. she is very smart but it is always very hard for her to achieve her dreams. it is never easy. But today i am proud to say that she is a doctor. i have always wanted one of my daughters to become a doctor.

and gerry – she is the little one and my weak-ness. she is very mischievous and unconven-tional and achieves her goals easily.

and those two fluffy dogs i love them almost as much as my children. they are my lovely creatures, especially terra. she has helped me in the worst moments of my life. and raia (Heaven) is her daughter and is the sweetest dog ever.

Yes, i do love food. my favorite sweet is Kozunak (a traditional easter cake) and my favorite salty are stuffed peppers.

Yes, i have and it is strange somehow some of them you just start to like too much.

What do you calculate in your personal life?

well, i usually calculate the family budget, but it is not paginated.

What do you do when you have time for yourself?

i love summer very much and i like sitting and relaxing in the evenings on my terrace. it is a great pleasure to read books when my eyes are not tired.

and there is an another thing, which i love, but i have not done it for a long time - to gather mushrooms in the woods.

ooh, this was a pure coincidence. i am an electrical engineer. i did not know even what a tender is and i have studied everything while i was working. life took me to accounting. If you have to describe ALLTERCO in

three words, what would they be?

they would be security, trust and stability

the alps in austria or how to combine different ski slopes, good food, company & something new just for a week.

the choice of the main destination (Kaprun), it is strongly recommended, although it is more famous with its free-ride zones, there are indeed great ski slopes!

• the location: it is better to offer different types of entertainment - a holiday which covers wide range of tastes.

• a castle, bars, pleasant atmosphere, shops (intersport is the monopolist of the region, even in rent-ski), a spa center (the largest thermal center in europe).

• there are several ski destinations with ~200 km ski runs in 100 km distance and some of them are part of the world ski Champ.

the hotel - the focus is on different details but the most important are:

• good food;• a comfortable mattress;• a ski-wardrobe;• a sauna;• wifi (usually there is not a good connection).

the Slopes• a tip: no matter how tempting the beautiful view from the top

is, there is a 2.5 kilometers ascent so do not take the distance for 30 minutes, especially when there is fog! the effect will be “drunky-high”.

• the solution: gradual conditioning for an hour on 2000 m or a tea with rum 1200 m down the hill and then back to the top again. there are modern sports-facilities such as auto helmets in different colors, 8 heated seated lifts and also tolerant people, food everywhere on the slopes, no queues and facilities for the personal equipment.

• the slopes - especially those which are part of the world ski Champ - are lots of blue bars of ice, there is a sense of competi-tion, adrenaline, cameras & audience... and a really serious slope (70’). overall the ski slopes are mostly red-black (it is not for begin-ners). if you are going to learn how to ski - this is not the place, but you could try in 3 years.

• the falls - it is better to be controlled and it is not always because of the ski. sometimes it happens only in shoes… in the parking lot!

• important: keep your things! it is strange but true, everyone leaves everything everywhere, but sometimes it happens (it hap-pened to me) to be without gloves on the top (3200m in -15‘).

• Streif-kitzbuehel Slope or No21 a black-red one (so it is called “the most dangerous one” in the world, due to the victims) with a reverse virage and narrow vertical sections, it is an adrenaline injection.

i do recommend the area for hiking too – the fabulous alps, lakes, marmots and tyrolean songs which sound everywhere (it is a bit funny).

it is not so nice to share, but it smells like sheep and cows everywhere. they are like ghosts - you can`t see them but you know they exist. .

the city is amazing! saalbach is not less fancy, but it is not so “compact”. there is a “log & ax” game in every bar, which is a big challenge after 9 beers.the technologies have impressed me most, except my new ski gloves with leki mechanism:• there is a center, people, a street, a tunnel and suddenly

you enter a parking lot in a rock which has a lot of laby-rinths, lifts and no chance for navigation.

• there is also a “3s”, which is a train-cabin for 30 people with french windows, heated seats and there is no pillar within 1 km distance which makes your heart beating.

diesel is ~1.22 euro all the way (Bg-srB-Cro-slo-aUs);

the fees are fixed and there are speed cameras mainly in austria - so, smile!

the borders are passed quickly, there is no wasted time, but consumption of junk food and crumbs in the

car is always a classic.

minimum of 50 km sliding per day, a lot of strudel, ribs, salads, ski-orientation and gopro in the pocket –

these are the austrian alps.
