Director of AV Services for Pearl Brewery The venue Consists of a Main Ballroom

and a smaller Studio Meeting Room. I’ve designed and produced corporate

and non-profit meetings, galas, weddings and other various events. I

worked with the venue staff regularly to maintain client expectations and

encourage return business. I’m the currently supporting the new Account Executive while he learns the venue.

Alamo Heights Annual Fundraiser This event is one of many that challenge the

venues capacity. The client wants the room to feel like an actual tailgate party is taking place.

There are 3 10’x10’ tents among the 36 60” round tables in the space. I designed a custom tailgate table that is balanced to take the weight of guests so it can be used as a prop for a photo

area for other events.

VIP Band Cube Creative Director I designed a 40’x20’x10’ steel frame structure

with plexiglass walls. The structure took approximately 2 weeks to fabricate in the

warehouse. It was dissembled and shipped via a 40’ semi tractor trailer. Assembly on-site

was 15 hours. 20’x6” phone charging stations were

disguised as “branded” planter boxes. Acoustically designed and treated to provide

ideal sound production and climate controlled for comfort.

The client provided the invitation and photos of elements that she would like to

see in the room.

Juvenile Diabetes and Research Foundation Annual Ball and Fundraiser

The result was a 55’x22’ box of truss wrapped in bleached white muslin and

5’ fringe hanging below. The fringe took light well so we could

enforce her colors, and have an interesting surface to project patterns

and create new looks. It was also a great compromise to the solid ribbon on truss that she originally wanted. It offered the look within her

budget and was not as visually obstructive so the Chairman would

approve.

Great Events and Rentals

Barrett Jaguar Reveal Party The challenge was to hide a rear

parking area with something fun and modern that could withstand high

winds. The diagram below shows the original design for an evening

reception with red lighting.

NSIDE Magazine Annual Gala The client came with photos of inspiration and color palette. I designed this stage to give a sense of depth for a small area

and within a very tight budget. The bubbles moved slowly and mocked the

design on the invitation.

USAA Children’s Holiday Party CandyLand - Creative Director Budget dollars are stretched by

repurposing existing scenic. Old circus thimbles are

repainted to look like oversized gumdrops. Spanish buildings

and a long western bar back are given a whimsical facelift.
