Members of Academic Advisory Body: The College has permanent affiliation with Punjab Technical University,
Jalandhar since 1997. There is Board of Studies (B.O.S.) constituted by PTU, Jalandhar to formulate/revise the
B.Tech and M.Tech Courses Curriculum. There is also a Board of Academic council to formulate/revise the policy
decisions / academic regulations, concerning to the students.
Frequency of the Board Meetings and Academic Advisory Body : The BOS meeting is called twice a year by
the PTU, Jalandhar. However, the meetings for the academic council are held quarterly or as demanded as per
need of the hour.

Nature and Extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs/improvements: A number of
technical societies headed by the faculty members are framed at the college to encourage the students to
participate in a number of technical activities such as Paper Presentation, Model Making Contest, Technical Quiz,
Seminars & Debate, Software Contest, etc.
Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for democratic/good Governance: Governance is done aiming at delivering
quality education in different fields of Engineering & Technology to produce Technical human resource, keeping in
view the requirement of the country. Quality Education is the main motive to produce quality Engineer. At the
outset it is ensured that people of good quality are recruited and later on all promotional avenues, so as to retain
best talent. Schemes like CPF, Medical benefit, GISL & LTC are in practice as per Govt. rules.

Grievance redressal mechanism for faculty, staff and students : The feedback from the students is gathered by
the HOD/Co-ordinator of the concerned department on his personal basis. Thereafter, the HOD/Co-ordinator
prepares cumulative information about the faculty/staff of the department in concern and the said faculty / staff
member is informed about the feedback to improve upon his teaching methodology and interaction with the
students. The requirements/ problems of the faculty/staff members are looked into and the solutions are worked out
by the Principal by convening meeting with all the HOD/Co-ordinators.
