Welcome back. I hope you spent an enjoyable vacation with your children to continue working actively during the academic year. Our school is filled with enthusiastic students willing to learn, supportive parents interested in their children’s education, and dedicated professional staff committed to providing the students with quality education, this is what makes Al-Hekma special. We provide a balanced environment focused on shaping children into leaders of tomorrow, by offering comprehensive education through a developmental approach. AHIS environment promotes independence, a love of learning, a connection to the world through integrated activities related to real life situations and global events.Qatar National Day celebrations were on Wednesday 16th December, Students enjoyed all activities and presentations related to Qatar’s Culture and Traditions, Henna and face painting. In addition to Darb Elsaei Trips which increased their National knowledge. Their performance during the school show was amazing, thanks to our teachers who worked hard with their students as these activities develop the sense of home belonging to Qatar. Last day of Quarter two will be on January 28th, kindly help your children at home to study and follow up with their homework to pass successfully. Midyear Exams for Gr6 will be from 21st till 27th January and teachers sent the study guides of the subjects for students to be prepared. The International Day celebration will be on Thursday 28th January, teachers already started preparing their classes for this event. We sent you surveys to find out your opinions about the school, it is important that you all fill these surveys to help us improve the school’s development plan. Here are some tips to help your children prepare for the tests:- Help your children in areas that are difficult for them by providing some extra practice.- Help them stay calm, confident with no anxiety.- Make sure your child gets a good early night’s sleep and eats a healthy breakfast.Your support is appreciated for a continuous improvements and developments.

المتكاملة المتعلقة بمواقف الحياة الحقيقية والأحداث العالمية.احتفلنا باليوم الوطني يوم الأربعاء 16 ديسمبر،حيث استمتع الطلاب بجميع الأنشطة والعروض المتعلقة بثقافة قطر وتقاليدها، الحنة والرسم على الوجه، بالإضافة إلى رحلات درب الساعي التي أثرت على معرفتهم الوطنية. كان أداؤهم رائعاً خلال فترة العرض بالمدرسة . شكراً لمعلمينا الذين عملوا بجهد مع طلابهم على هذه الأنشطة التي تعزز الشعور بالإنتماء إلى وطنهم قطر. إن اليوم الأخير من الربع الثاني سيكون 28 يناير، الرجاء مساعدة أولادكم بالدراسة في المنزل ومتابعة واجباتهم لتأمين نجاحهم. ستمتد إمتحانات نصف السنة للصف السادس تام استعداد ليكونوا على للطلاب الإرشادية المواضيع المعلمون أرسل يناير، وقد 27 لغاية 21 إبتدائي من للإمتحانات. إن احتفال اليوم العالمي سيكون يوم الخميس 28 يناير، وابتدأ المعلمون بتحضير فصولهم الدراسية

- مساعدة أولادكم في الأقسام الصعبة عليهم عن طريق توفير بعض الممارسات الإضافية. - مساعدتهم على البقاء هادئين، واثقين من نفسهم بدون قلق.

- التأكد من حصولهم على ليلة نوم جيدة في وقت مبكر، وتناول وجبة فطور صحية.

Students of grade 6 went on an educational trip to Energy World Qatar. Qatar’s Energy world is a celebration of science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) in all aspects of life. The students participated in Energy World Qatar through its various exhibits and activities which aim to inspire students in Qatar to embrace STEM skills in order to become the scientists, engineers, technologists, innovators and leaders of tomorrow.للمرة أقيم والذي 2015 قطر – الطاقة عالم قدم تفاعلية تجربة الأوسط والشّرق قطر في الأولى الأسرة أفراد لجميع أيام عشرة مدى على تعليمية العلوم آفاق بين رحلة في الأعمار مختلف من المعرض تخلل والرّياضيات. والتكنلوجيا والهندسة مزيج مفعم بالمرح والتّفاعل من الأنشطة التّفاعلية المشتركين كافة فضول أثارت العلمية والعروض

إندمج طلابنا في مرحلة الروضة في عدة أنشطة خلال شهر ديسمبر. إمتد »أسبوع القراءة العديد من القصص إلى إلى 10 ديسمبر، واستمتع الطلاب بالإستماع العربية« من 6 العربية وقراءتها، ومشاهدة عرض القصة المختارة من خلال مسرح العرائس. أثرى الطلاب الإحتفال خلال بوينت باور عروض عبر القطرية والتقاليد العادات من للعديد معرفتهم

Our KG students were engaged in many activities during December. The “Arabic Reading Week” extended from the 6th till the 10th of December 2015, the students enjoyed listening to many Arabic stories and reading them, and watching a puppet show presenting a chosen story. They enriched their knowledge about Qatar traditions in Qatar’s National Day celebration through power point presentations. They were amazing wearing their beautiful traditional dresses, and their performance was great during the school show. After distributing the report cards, we had a parents teachers meeting where parents discussed with the teachers their children’s academic level and how to improve their work and help them at home. We would like to share some ideas with you to build your child’s self-confidence, which reflects on his academic improvements:Self-esteem is your child’s passport to a lifetime of mental health and social happiness. It’s the foundation of a child’s well-being and the key to success as an adult. Some important tips are:-Enhance your child’s confidence by playing togetherYou will learn a lot about your child during playtime, it helps making them happy and helps them express their feelings smoothly. It is well known that children learn through play. It improves a child’s behavior by giving him the feelings of importance and accomplishment. -Make your child feel specialRaise a confident child by focusing your attention on the child during playtime. Ask them about their school life, they will share with you their childish concerns or happy moments.

مدرستنا احتفلت قطر كلنا شعار وتحت مدرسة الحكمة الدولية بهذا اليوم العظيم الهيئة أعضاء جميع بمشاركة المشرف عملوا الذين المدرسة وطلاب التعليمية صفوف تزيين في ونشاط همة بكل القطرية المدرسة بالاعلام وأروقة وساحة عرضت كما المعبرة، الوطنية والصور أظهرت التي الفنية الأعمال من مجموعة الابداع الفني للطلاب، كما صمم البعض بحصة الخاصة الوطنية المشارع منهم والعراقة الأصالة مجسدة القطري التاريخ والروح الوطنية العالية لدى طلابنا الأعزاء. الإحتفال في الأكبر الأثر للتراث كان وقد الجميلة الفنية الاشكال رسم خلال من بالحناء والرسم على الوجه بالألوان الزاهية غنائية فعاليات تقديم تم كما الجميلة ولوحات شعبية راقصة شارك فيها طلاب بهذا سعادتهم حبهم لإظهار المدرسة

QATAR NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION On Qatar’s National Day, the entire country showed it gratitude and support for its leadership by decorating their homes and places of work with the colors of the flag and symbolic images of Qatar. On December 16th, 2015 Al-Hekma International School celebrated Qatar’s National Day with the involvement of many staff and students. The school was decorated with beautiful maroon and white flags and pictures about Qatar. Student’s artworks relating to Qatar were displayed around the school for all to admire. The students participated in different activities that represented the history of Qatar, and each student made an art project that they took home. There were face painting and henna stations for all the students to enjoy.Near the end of the day all of the classes gathered on the playground for a special show. Each class in the school preformed a song or dance representing their love and loyalty to their country and its leadership. It was a fun filled day for everyone.
