MeetAlexiaClaire

Hello! I am Alexia Claire and Surface Design is my thing. I have a degree in Printed Textiles and I can’t go too long without drawing some little creature, insect or bird... my favourite to draw and create.

I created the illustrations for these products as well as designing for other companies and brands. I am proud to have had my products featured in British Vogue and to have tutored other creatives.

Most of my designs begin life as pencil on paper until they are eventually manipulated digitally, after being edited on my lightbox and scanned.

I have been brought up as an avid bird watcher and have a love for all things nature. I feel privileged to live in a country full of beautiful wildlife and stunning scenery. There really is never a shortage of inspiration for my creations!

As a result I have produced this particular product range. Each animal and plant illustrated and featured in this British Wildlife range are all either endangered, rare or of a threatened status. I wanted to celebrate their unique beauty through bright colour palettes and adorable drawings. These greetings cards are a bright and fun way to send your loved ones a message for any occasion

Each card is 14.8cm x 14.8cm and is printed on all sides

Inside, along the bottom of the card, there is a strip of the same foliage silhouette featured on the front of the card

On the reverse there is another design of the same animal in black and white
