The canadian Light Source: Building a better vaccineBreakingdownwhoopingcoughinfections
The Canadian Light Source in Saskatoon is the brightest light in Canada—millions of times brighter than even the sun—and is used by scientists
to get incredibly detailed information about the structural and chemical properties of materials at the molecular level, with work ranging from mine tailing remediation to cancer research and cutting-edge materials development.
The CLS is one of the largest scientific research facilities in Canada. This year alone CLS will host 1,000 scientists from across Canada.
“If you know the structure of the machinery in the system, then you could rationally design a small molecule or drug to block or target that function.”

Your Saskatoon Liberal candidates are committed to better support for our children. With the Liberal plan, a typical one-parent family, with 1 child, earning $30,000 per year will get $533 tax-free every month. With Mr. Harper, the same family only receives around $440 after-tax. Over the course of a year, the Canada Child Benefit will provide $6,400 to this single parent family. That is $1,128 more help, tax-free. If this single parent had two kids, the benefit would double.
