Described by the Gramophone Magazine as "virtuoso of power and poetry", Eldar Nebolsin is regularly invited by the most famous orchestras and festivals in Spain and the world. His professional career started after his triumph at the XI 'Santander International Piano Competition' in 1992, where, with only 17 years, won the Grand Prix and the award for the best performance of a Mozart piano concerto. A year before he came to Spain to study at the Piano Chair, sponsored by the Banco Santander Foundation, in the School of Music Reina Sofia with Head Professor Dmitri Bashkirov. In 1999 he agreed to this school as a teacher and, in 2006, to the International Institute of Chamber Music in Madrid, where he taught until 2012. In 2005 Eldar Nebolsin was unanimously awarded the Sviatoslav Richter Prize. Since 2013 he is piano professor at the prestigious Hochschule Hanns Eisler Berlin. Since 2006 he is an exclusive artist of the Naxos label. His debut album with the Rachmaninov “preludes” received excellent reviews from the international press. His next album, the piano concerti and "Totentanz" by Liszt with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Vasily Petrenko, has spent more than eight consecutive months at the head of the bestsellers of Naxos. In The next albums for Naxos were Ernst von Dohnanyi’s Variations of Nursery Theme, with the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Jo-Ann Falletta, and Chopin’s all works for piano and orchestra with the Warsaw Philharmonic and Antoni Wit, released in 2010. Earlier recordings include two albums for Decca a solo works by Chopin and Liszt, and Chopin’s Piano Concerto with the Deutsches Symphony Orchester Berlin and Vladimir Ashkenazy. For the season 14/15 he will make his debut with the New Zealand Philharmonic Orchestra, will perform as re-invited in Warsaw, Valencia, Madrid, Berlin and Oviedo and will made an extensive tour in Holland with the conductor Nikolaj Alexeev. FEE FOR ACTIVE STUDENTS This fee must be paid before the beginning of the lessons. It is to be paid in its entirety and cannot be refunded if the candidate stops attendance on his own initiative.
ATTENDANCE FEE FOR AUDITORS This fee permits auditing of lessons. However, it cannot be refunded in case the student interrupts attendance on his own initiative.
TABLE OF FEES: PARTICIPATION AND REGISTRATION FEES • Active: 450 Euro of participation fee + 100 Euro of registration fee • Auditors: 100 Euro of registration fee
REGULATION Students attending “Talent Music Master Courses - Masterclass with M° Eldar Nebolsin”, who are divided into Active students and Auditors, are subject to the following regulations:
ACTIVE STUDENTS The application form, with the required documents and the payment of the application fee, must reach the academy before the 10th of May 2018. Photocopies of the following documents are to be forwarded, required only for first-time applicants for the “Talent Music Master Courses in Music Performance”: • diplomas or certificates of musical studies; • identification card showing the date of birth; • program proposals for recitals.
At the request of the candidate, the photocopies of the forwarded documents will be returned before the end of the course. For the Active Students, Talent Music Master Courses - Masterclass with M° Eldar Nebolsin” consists of 3 lessons of one hour each from the 27th to the 31st of May 2018.
Active students who – according to the evaluation of the respective instructor and of the Artistic Director of the Talent Music School – excel particularly during the “Talent Music Master Courses - Masterclass with M° Eldar Nebolsin” will have the possibility of being inserted in the concert seasons “Talent Music Master Concerts”.
AUDITORS No particular qualifications are necessary for registration; only the application form is required, together with payment of the auditor’s fee in euros.
CERTIFICATES AND DIPLOMAS All Active students who have attended lessons regularly will be granted attendance certificates. Diplomas of Merit or Honor may also be granted.
