In the information society we are in danger of losing sight of contexts. Museums and exhibitions can of-

fer a place where contexts of meaning can be experienced

and opened up to discussion, where the roots of the pres-

ent are revealed in the past and knowledge is conveyed in

a way that restores our capacity for astonishment and in-

quiry.

Goals:

1. comprehensive analysis of informal exhibitions in public and hybrid spaces2. environmental and behavioural research through prototypes3. final exhibition

Hypothesis:

Informal exhibitions can be used to actively engage users in socio-cultural content matter in ways that are commercially viable, and will therefore continue to gain value in a (post) capitalist society.
