Argument. The Tempus programme theme is Governance
reform, and university autonomy policies, specifically for
Moldovan HEI is the modernization of higher education by:
- building governance and management capacities at HEIs;
- initiating sustainable dialogue on HE reforms among relevant
interest groups;
- empowering students to become more actively involved in
decision making at HEIs.
We recognize these challenges in the La Manche project

Management is efficiency in climbing the ladder of succes , leadership
determines if the ladder is leaning against the right wall! (Covey, 1989)

We have disseminated the publications from the project which were referred to on-line in the INFORMATION BULLETIN:
the External Assessment Report on Leadership and Management Skills and Models in the Higher Education Institutions in Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine,
the Changing Higher Education Institutions in Societies in Transition Indepth Study Report,
the Handbook of European Governance Practices in Higher Education,
the Student Engagement Toolkit,
the guidance materials and syllabi in Leadership and Change Management,
the Communication and Post-Project Dissemination Strategy.

Activities at universities shall be student-centered

Participation in the
Young Leaders Academy
IUC, Bulgaria held in September 2014 a large scale of training and networking event for students from the La MANCHE consortium.
Two students from USBparticipated in the Young Leaders Academy (Irina Bors and Vadim Baraniuc ) who are student organization leaders and actively involved in the decision making processes at their home institutions.
Upon their return, they disseminated the information.
