24-HOUR EMERGENCY WATER EXTRACTION

• Mould beneath the carpet. Mildew in the closets. Warping of the woodwork. Water damage can quickly become a nightmare for homeowners — but if you act quickly to halt the damage and thoroughly extract the water, you can greatly reduce its impact.

• If you’ve recently experienced a water heater leak, drain backup, plumbing emergency or other accidental water damage to your home, you’re not alone.

• Sudden and accidental water damage is the most common restoration emergency that homeowners face.

• Because damage becomes worse as time elapses, it is vital to enlist the help of a professional, IICRC-certified restoration company as soon as possible.

24-HOUR EMERGENCY WATER EXTRACTION

• Uses state-of-the-art drying equipment and industry-approved methods to extract the maximum amount of water in the least amount of time from your home — including places where moisture hide.

• We respond immediately to your call with 24-hour emergency water extraction.

• Our trained technicians assess your level of water damage and determine the best course of action based on current IICRC S-500 standards.

• The water is extracted using powerful, industry-strength truck-mount systems. Wet padding, which can act as a sponge to trap moisture, is removed and discarded. Pad samples are taken to make sure a like-quality is replaced.

FIRE & SMOKE DAMAGE RESTORATION

• Fire and smoke damage can be physically and emotionally devastating. Smoke odors penetrate your home and everything in it, from your clothing and personal items to the walls surrounding them.

• Layers of soot blanket your furniture and blacken dishes and silverware. And the chemicals and water used to extinguish the fire often damage your home’s structure and contents even further.

• It’s understandable that you may feel devastated by what has happened — but with smoke and fire damage restoration services from Alberta Fire and Flood, you can begin to re-build your home and your life.

ASBESTOSWhat is Asbestos?Asbestos is a fibrous mineral that is naturally occurring in the earth. There are several fibrous mineral types. One of the most common is called Chrysotile (or white asbestos). Others include: Amosite (brown asbestos), Crocidolite (blue asbestos) and Anthophyllite, Tremolite, and Actinolite. These minerals were mined and added to building materials and textiles.

ASBESTOS: HEALTH ISSUES THAT COULD AFFECT YOU

Three specific diseases 1. asbestosis (a fibrous scarring of the lungs), 2. lung cancer, and 3. mesothelioma (cancer of the lining of the chest or

abdominal cavity) have been linked to asbestos exposure.

These diseases do not develop immediately after inhalation of asbestos fibers; it may be 10 to 20 years before symptoms appear.

MICRO 50 EATS GREASE, FUELS & OILS

For the latest in microbial technology, Micro 50’s microbes literally eats the hydrocarbon molecules and spews off water, carbon dioxide and oxygen. All you have to do is spray diluted Micro 50 on the spill, brush it and wait for the microbes to feast on the HC molecules. Rinse the surface off with water and re-apply.

Micro 50 is great for cleaning oily equipment restoring them to their original finish.
