Required Use of Face Masks Face Masks will be required for all students and staff while on campus:

● The school will provide two Baxter Bear face masks per student.

● Parents please make sure that your child wears a clean mask covering the nose and mouth at all times. Masks should be washed daily.

● Parents of younger children are encouraged to pack a second face mask in a backpack each day in case the one a child is wearing gets soiled; this would allow for a change of the face covering during the day.

Conduct a Symptom Check Before Student Leaves Home

Ask the following questions:● Have you had a fever greater than or equal to 100.4 in the last 24

hours?● Have you had a new cough in the last 24 hours?● Have you had diarrhea or vomiting in the last 24 hours?● Has anyone in your home had a COVID-19 positive test in the last 14

days?● Have you traveled out of state in the last 10 days?If your child answers yes to any of these questions your child will need to stay home and consult with your doctor.

Don’t come

to school if

you are sick!

● Online class attendance and participation is offered as an option for all students in all classes.

● Sharing of equipment and supplies is avoided where possible.

Changes in School Meals In order to avert risk and ensure physical distancing the following

measures are in place:● Meals are eaten without any mingling of stable groups from

different classrooms. ● If students line up to pick up food, tape or other markings are

used to assure a 6-foot distance between any two students. ● Staff are deployed during meals to maintain physical

distancing and prevent any mixing of students from different stable groups.

● If meals take place in a cafeteria, mealtimes are staggered to only allow one stable group at a time in the cafeteria.
