The Company The living facility is a home-like environment that is designed to meet the needs of senior living.
The Need Each room and bathroom is accompanied by a pull cord which can be pulled at anytime in case of an emergency. The staff wanted a way to be notified directly on their radios when a pull cord had been activated. They were using pagers to notify staff of alarms but there was no way to communicate if someone had responded to the incident.

The Solution Teldio integrated with the facilities’ existing alarm system and utilized AMS to ensure that anytime a pull cord was activated staff would receive an alarm on their radios, using Teldio’s Smart Tickets. When a staff member accepts a ticket all other staff are notified that the emergency is being handled. Once the staff member who accepted the ticket has dealt with the emergency they can clear it from the pull cord which in turn clears it from their radio.
