Al Qabandi United Company was established in 1993, with its headquarters located in Salmiya, Kuwait. Since its inception, Al Qabandi has entrenched itself in Kuwait with strategic alliances throughout the Middle East to include the United Arab Emirates, Iraq, Qatar, Bahrain and Afghanistan to create a streamlined network for operational success. The Chairman of Al Qabandi United Co., Mr. Mohammad Ali Al Qabandi, belongs to one of the most reputed and respected business families in Kuwait. His father started with a freight forwarding Company approximately 40 years ago and went on to successfully operate the stevedoring contract servicing at one of the major ports in Kuwait. In fact, it is his family association with the shipping, stevedoring and transportation business that led Mr. Qabandi to build an infrastructure to grow laterally and expand business into the service and construction industries. That growth began with a vision of attracting international professionals with diverse backgrounds and experience to balance the company’s strategic focus among Government Solutions and Defense Services, as well as regional and local business opportunities. Al Qabandi during the last decade has grown from a mid-size trading company to a large organization specializing in Base Support Services, Construction, Procurement and Logistics. The Al Qabandi Works Division has an established truck, trailer, heavy equipment and auto collision repair, painting and custom steel fabrication facility in Mina Abdullah. This facility is well equipped with the state of art machines, tools and workforce of experienced skilled professionals. The Works

Division is managed and operated by a US Military Veteran who oversees all functions to further include Vehicle Repair, Generator Maintenance and Custom Fabrication.

While our main focus of business is with the US Armed Forces, British Army & Coalition forces, Government Agencies and Non-Government Organizations(NGO), we also undertake private projects in our core competency areas which have two additional Fabrication Yards in Kuwait,

located in Amghara and

Shuaiba Industrial Area.
