EID MUBARAK
On behalf of the school Board of Directors and Staff, I would like to wish all the students and their families a blessed and joyous Eid Al Adha! The school will be closed on Monday the 12th and Tuesday the 13th of August, 2019.
YEAR 12 HSC TRIALS
The HSC trials commenced on Monday, 5th August
2019. All Year 12 and Year 11 compression students
are on study leave. There will be no trial exam on
Monday, 12th August 2019.
K - 12 HALF-YEARLY REPORTS
The K-12 half-yearly reports were distributed to
students last week. The half-yearly report provides
parents with an indication of their child’s academic,
social and behavioural progress thus far. Parents are
encouraged to contact their child’s teacher if they
have any concerns about their academic progress.
K - 2 PREFECTS FOR TERMS 3 & 4
The following students have been selected by class
teachers to represent their peers as prefects for the
second half of the year. The following students have
displayed outstanding leadership qualities and their
behaviour is always admirable. Congratulations!
A huge thank you to the Term 1 and 2 class prefects,
you did a brilliant job!
K - 6 JEANS FOR GENES DAY
On Friday the 2nd of August, 2019 K-6 students and
teachers participated in the Jeans for Genes Day
fundraiser. Jeans for Genes Day is a national event
where people wear their jeans to raise much-needed
funds for research into birth defects and diseases
such as Cancer, Epilepsy, and other genetic
disorders. Statistics suggest that 1 in 20 babies are
born with a birth defect or genetic disease. The K-6
students raised over $2000 for this great cause. I
would like to thank all the parents for their ongoing
support towards all school fundraisers and events.
Your support is very much appreciated.
SCHOOL UNIFORMS
Students and their parents are kindly reminded that
students must attend school in full school uniform
every day. High School students must change into
their sports uniform during their practical PDHPE
lessons, except on Tuesdays. Students attending
school in non-school uniform items will have these
items confiscated and returned at a later date.
Parents’ cooperation with this matter is appreciated.
LATENESS TO SCHOOL
Parents are reminded that all students must attend
school from 8:25am for the High School and 8:30am
for the Primary School. Roll call concludes strictly at
8:40am. Any high school student who fails to arrive
to their roll class by 8:40am must be accompanied by
their parent and collect a late note from the front
