General Secretary, Maulana Azmat Abbas Zohairi requested to recite Surah Faha for the esale thawab of following mar- homeen, Late wife of Maulana Yaqoob Malik, Late mother of Maulana Moazzam Ali Aoun and sister of mother in law Maulana Arshad Turabi. President, Maulana Syed Ali Raza Rizvi said that aſter the elec- on, we divided our 2 years term in 4 phases. First 6 months term was for expansion and establishing organisaonal network. It is difficult job to establish an acve organisaonal set up, planning and lead- ing a naon. There was a communicaon gap between leadership and our people. It was a difficult task to visit 70 centres which are member’s instuons of MUS. Central Cabinet divided the country in 5 zones. Annual Wali Asr convenon was held on 30 th June in Markaz e Ahlebait, Clapham , London. Aſter that successful event, central cabinet decided to organise zones convenons. I’ve chosen a statement from ‘ the final will ‘ of Ali ibn Abi Talib. Where he says “I make A will to all of my sons.” first of all he addresses imam Hassan and Imam Hussain who Stand out from all of his sons then he says “not only Hassan and Hussain but all of my children, but not only my children, all of my followers, but then not only my followers but whoever Hears my words and for whoever wants to follow me , fear Allah SWT have Taqwa Become a Pious person and secondly be organised in your affairs. Timing of Hajj
Hajj is the Holy Pilgrimage to Mecca in Islam, an obligation that must be carried out by every able-bodied Muslim who can afford to do so, at least once in their life. It is the demonstration of the solidarity of the Muslim, and their submission to Allah. Hajj occurs from the 8th to the 12th day of Dhul Hijjah, the 12th month of the Islamic calendar. This date cannot be aligned directly with Western calendars, but in the early 21st century, it occurs roughly in the November-January timeframe.
Hajj and Umrah
Hajj is performed because Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) performed Hajj, but the ritual was considered ancient even in the time of the Prophet, in the 7th century, and many believe that it goes back to the time of Abraham in 2000 BC. Pilgrims would join processions of tens of thousands of people, who would simultaneously converge on Mecca for the week of the Hajj, and perform a series of rituals. Each person would walk counter-clockwise seven times about the Kaaba, kiss the Black Stone, run back and forth be-tween the hills of Al-Safa and Al-Marwah, drink from the Zamzam Well, go to the plains of Mount Arafat to stand in vigil, then proceed to Muzdalifah to gather pebbles, which they would throw at a rock in Mi-na to perform the ritual of the Stoning of the Devil. The pilgrims would then shave their heads, perform an animal sacrifice, and celebrate the three day global festival of Eid ul-Adha.
Pilgrims can also go to Mecca to perform the rituals at other times of the year. This is sometimes called the “lesser pilgrimage”, or Umrah. However, even if they perform the Umrah, they are still obligated to perform the Hajj at some other point in their lifetime.

When this Ayat was revealed from Hazart Jabraeel to the Prophet (SAWW) from Allah (S ) The Prophet held a gathering at the land of Khumm e Ghadeer, after the Khutbah he held the arm of Imam Ali (AS)
‘‘Whomsoever's master (maula) I am, Ali is also his (maula) master. O' God, love those who love him, and be hostile to those who are hostile to him.’’
After the message of Allah was delivered to Ummah te Muhammadiya, and Imam Ali (AS) became the Imam and the Caliphatullah and Caliphatulrasool, Hazart Jibraeel descended down once again delivering
the second message, which came in the form of this ayat:

Eid al-Ghadeer is a festive day on the 18th of Dhu al-Hijjah in the Islamic calendar to commemorate the appointment of Imam Ali (AS) by the Islamic Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as his immediate successor. It marks the anniversary of Muhammad's sermon, described in Hadith of the Pond of Khumm in which he

Secretary Tabligaat HIWM Syed Najmul Hassan Naqvi Delivered his Speech on the Aims and Objectives of
Majlis e Ulama Shia Europe.
اٹھ کە خورشید کا سامان سفرتازە کریں...نفس سوختە شام و سحرتازە کریں
This is one rhyme from Allama Iqbal's (rh) poetry. In fact this is an invita-
tion to establishing a Divine society and civilisation. It means prepare your-
self for the journey of the Sun, journey of dignity, elevation and enlighten-
ment. We will give life, a new life to the tired souls. We are going to make
new days and nights. The days and nights of meaningful life. The new
dawn is knocking at your threshold. Time is changing quickly. The wise of a
nation have duty to plan the good plans for their generations and succes-
sors. Islam demands new and appropriate interpretation that should be
relevant and respondent to the demands and needs of the time. Majlis e
Ulama Shia Europe has different plans for the betterment of community.
These plans contain variety of topics consisting the social and collective needs. I would like to derive your
kind attention towards an important matter of the day. Our “Minbar" is a powerful institution of deliver-
ing the message of real Islam. Unfortunately we are not addressing the real issues and problems.
Ahlebait(as) has been given high rank in the universe and they have shaped the practical role model of
Islam as well. Our new generation has a gap to their prior generation. It is because the real and visualized
concept of Islam is not being explained well through the “Minbar". We are grateful to the executive
members of the centres and community members as well for assisting the Majlis e Ulama Shia Europe in
its roadmaps.
Mr Ehsan Raza ( Central Co-Ordinator of Imamia Council ) Said: Imamia Council works under the guidance of Majlis e Ulama Europe. Imamia short term vision is to " increase and build communication be-tween ourselves i.e. between our centres and among the wider communi-cation. Previously, there was very little communication between the Centres. Our communication was more at personal level with individu-als rather than Centre. We have started this already. Our very presence here is an indication of that. We have a long way to go. We should support each other and learn from the experiences of others. Have regular meetings within your Zone. 2. Build a list of good quality tradesmen and professionals with each Cen-tre. So that community economic well being is advanced. 3. Have open days in the Centre and invite your neighbours to come and meet the our community. Explain to them what we are. 4. Each centre should join interfaith committee of the councils / boroughs. There are interfaith com-mittee in every Council and Boroughs. My observation is there is very little representation of Shia com-munity on these committees. Generally all the Faiths have a representative. By joining them we will not only be able to increase our representation but also understand the issues that relates to us and build a voice.
5. In addition, there are regular meetings that police invites to give briefing and discuss local is-sues. Again out representation is limited. We should join these groups to raise our profiles and create a voice for ourselves.
In the end, I will say this " Majlis e Ulama and Imamia Council may prepare strategies for the improve-ment of general well being of the community, It is ONLY You who can make a difference". Unless you come forward and strengthen the community, nothing is going to be changed.

The Representative of Jamia Tul Muntazir Manchester Sister Amina
Sheikh Said,
“Welcome to Jamia Tul Muntazir, this centre has been running since 2006
we are first and fore most an educational establishment for children and
the youth we have a variety of activities including Majlis’s Muharram pro-
grammes fairs and competitions and youth discussions we have over 90
students attending Sunday classes we successfully follow the MUS
syllabus Fiqh, Akhlaq and History we have a term fee of £10.00 to include
the students owning the book I believe that the MUS books should be
used nation wide through out the United Kingdom the involvement of
the youth and parents is immense we are beginning to bring our teachers within government guide lines
this is for example having CRB checks and valid qualifications and above all experience we accept sugges-
tions and provide each student with a hot lunch collaboration with other centres because were not in
competition with anyone if you have a valid suggestion speak to Dr Aftab and he can bring in the
professionals for the task. We also offer such activities as Karate classes and Trips but we need to work
with parents o bring these activities ‘alive’ the coming few years will tell if our vision was successful.”
Syed Zohair Hashimi, Representative of Al Mustafa Islamic Centre Rochdale said: “I thank MUS for the opportunity to speak in the convention. Its very difficult to talk about a nice and positive thinking centre like Rochdale Mustafa Islamic centre, a very small centre but there are plans to expand, we’re winning the battle with the local council over the expansion of the centre and Alhamolillah we have gained planning permission to expand. Our vision for the al Mustafa centre is simple political economical and social, politically we mean is to open up to the local authorities, help them to help our community. Economically, a centre is a place where people go to require help, however at this moment in time most centres are a place needing help, Our plan is to employ some sort of business idea into the centre so we can gain a stable income for the centre rather than asking people for money, socially, the focus on women's education in the centres are not there and neglected, we need to focus and improve the education of females. He emphasised on the importance of youth in the community and what we need to do to connect them back into the centres, by establishing English programs”.

‘’in the name of the one the most compassionate the most
merciful, and he united their hearts and he had you spend all that
is in earth, you could have not united their hearts, but Allah (SWT)
united them, surely he is mighty wise’’ , ladies and gentle men
brothers and sisters it’s a great pleasure for me to speak before
you today and congratulate MUS who ‘ve given us this oppor-
tunity and has considered us worthy to be present here before
you, and its honour that the Ulama have invited us the youth to
have a active participation in theirs program. We were estab-
lished as the Islamic Unity Society 1994 in the university college
London and a UK registered charity with more than 500 members currently although we’ve had 1500 .
Our aims is to promote cultural and social cohesion in multicultural Britain based on Islamic principles
specifically through a advance education about Islam and improving the quality of life and enhancing op-
portunities of our members . Our fundamental model look at Islam at its holistic sense so when we try to
develop the youth we look at the spiritual social mental emotional and physical attributes in their per-
sonality”
Syed Raza Naqvi , (Head of Youth at Mohheban e Mehdi Manches-
ter)
“I represent Mohheban youth and our main aim is to empower the
youth and cater the youth, We’ve been established since 1992. We
have weekly Quran sessions we hold social activities Nahjul Balagha
classes we have weekly football sessions with the youth, we do
annual events and conferences in which we invite various famous
speakers from across the globe, so we basically cater for the youth
and we work closely with MUS, I congratulate and warmly appreci-
ate the hand and gesture from Majlis e Ulama Shia Europe for us to
work together”.
Saif Shah Central Coordinator for Imamia Youth MUS “Respected Ulama, basically I want to discuss Imamia youth, it is very impressive and inspirational to see the youth active at such a level, what I want to talk about is Imamia youth, and what is can offer differently. We see that organisations are working on a individual basis, but if there were to come together, then they can become an unstoppable force. They can reach new heights and levels, the youth are the next generation, the next leaders of our community, so it is vital for us to come together and make everyone work under one platform and one banner so we can hand over our communities and affairs to them. We have Majlis e Ulama as our guides and our priority is to establish a good bond and connection with the Ulama so they can help our youth in this day and age”.

Message of Muharram
The holy month of Muharram is coming. Surey this reminds us the unique and un ri-val sacrifice, for the sake of Allah(st).It recalls us the Azan of Hazrat Ali Akbar(as), the invitation of Oneness of Allah (st);
till the day of judgement. Whenever the sun of day of Ashura will rise this Azan will print هللا اال اله ال on the minds and hearts of human being. Our ’’Minbar is still the source of power, reflection ,affection and deliverance, because it is connected to Hussain (as), the renowned personality of heavens. Who sacri-ficed everything to elevate the flag of religion. The religion of Who He is eternal , everlasting, self-sustaining and the life giver to the whole creatures. This is why Hussain (as) is the eternal reality today we realise that due to the change of time we should deliver the message of Ashura in an appropriate manner. We have to address the real, practical , relevant and the matters which depend which depend to needs of the day. These are social collective and religious needs , in all aspects of life. We are grateful to all the scholars, executives of the community and all the community members, who are assisting the Majlis e Ulama Shia Europe in its objectives. (Syed Najmul Hassan Naqvi Secretary Tableeghaat Majlis e Ulama Shia Europe)
