Global Citizens who have a true understanding of

the social and economic issues of the world

• To help build students’ portfolio

‘Holistic is just not another word, but a belief that children must develop every aspect of their personality, not just to survive in this competitive world, but to make a mark. – Mr. Basil D’ Cunha, Chairman

FUND RAISING FOR EDUCATION

In June 2010, Sarah - a volunteer from Austria working in Nepal - organized "Apple Day" after she learned that many of the students in her class had never tasted an apple even though 'A for Apple' was the first thing they learned in the classroom.

SOME CREDENTIALS

As part of the community service, I went to Al Noor Training Centre for two days to assist the teachers and volunteer. Taking care of children with special needs brought a lot of humility into me. It was a great and memorable experience. I wish I get an another opportunity to go to Al Noor Centre for volunteering. Thank you for giving me this opportunity – Hitiksha Devnani

Dear Mahesh,

The Foundation of Goodness wishes to thank you and the 23 boys and girls from Al Diyafah High School Dubai U.A.E. ‘Community Outreach Programme, Sri Lanka -January 2014’ for the generous act of ‘spreading light’ by donating 50 solar power lamps to be distributed among rural disadvantaged students who have no access to electricity.

Khaleej Times: Feb 12, 2011 - Schools like Al Diyafah High School, Dubai also recently organised its first Blood Donation Camp with the Dubai Blood Donation Centre at Al Wasl Hospital.“Our students proposed that we do a blood donation drive so we organised it and the response was good,” said Mahesh Sajnani, Community Outreach Co-ordinator. “Sixty five people including parents, students and staff donated blood.”
