CONGRATULATIONSYou are the owner of one of the AKDAL pistols that combined with the art and high quality. AKDAL pistols have all important features that any shooter can require. Used with the proper ammunition and performed appropriate main-tenance, it will serve you for many years.

To be able to get the best performance and reliability from your pistol, please read and follow all explanation and warn-ings carefully in this manual. Your high quality pistol is enormously reliable with the included safety features unless it is handled in a careless or irresponsible manner. But never forget that the best safety of a firearm is the conscious and careful shooters itself.

Before using or firing with any live ammunition you should know your pistol and its operation quite well. So please read the all information about the procedures of using the pistol carefully and be sure that you fully understand.

This manual includes all information you need to know in order to use your pistol safely and effectively. If you have any questions or trouble about operating and maintenance of this pistol, please do not hesitate to contact with us via E-mail address or phone number written below.

INSTRUCTIONSPlease read these instructions carefully before every handling of any AKDAL pistol. •Do not use your pistol until you have fully understood all the safety instructions and it’s handling procedures. •Information and specifications contained within this manual may change without notification.

Ensure that you always comply with the local and national laws that govern ownership, carrying and use of firearms.•Should you require further information, do not hesitate to contact your dealer, importer or the manufacturer.•The pistol to which these safety instructions apply is sold under the expressed condition that the manufacturer and •the importer of the pistol do not accept any liability for the consequences of handling or use of the pistol.

This applies in particular to liability for bodily harm or damage to property resulting in whole or in part from:•Handling improperly or carelessly -Using with defective, improper caliber, hand-loaded or reloaded ammunition -Applying inadequate care for the pistol - (e.g. corrosion, damage)

SAFETYREGULATIONSAlways keep the muzzle of the pistol pointed in a safe direction. A safe direction is defined as towards an area where •there are no people, other life forms or other people’s property. Never aim at yourself or other life forms, even the pistol is unloaded.

Never use the pistol under the influence of drugs or alcohol, while ill or suffering other such difficulties.•The trigger finger stays out of the trigger guard until the firearm is on target and the decision to fire has been made.•Always unload the pistol immediately after firing, before putting the pistol away, putting it into a holster or handing it •to another authorized person.

Do not carry and transport your pistol with a live round in the chamber.•Always completely unload your pistol when not in use.•The recommended carrying position of your pistol is with the hammer in decocked position.•Whenever you handle your pistol or hand it to someone, make sure it is completely unloaded.•When preparing to shoot your pistol, beware of barrel obstructions and be certain no live round is in the chamber.•Never rely totaly on your firearms mechanical safety devices. Always assume that your pistol can be fired at anytime, •even with all safety mechanisms engaged.

Never give the pistol to a person who has not thoroughly familiarized himself or herself with the safety regulations and •handling of the pistol by reading the corresponding instructions.

Never leave the pistol lying unattended, and protect the pistol from unauthorized access. •

When storing a firearm, the firearm should be unloaded, secured in a safe storage case, and out of the reach of children •and untrained adults.

In case the manual safety proves to be ineffective for any reason, danger of an unintentional discharge exists. The •weapon is then to be immediately unloaded and, restricted from further use make sure that your weapon is properly repaired and checked by ucyildiz arms or certified armorer before using it again.

Information on safety regulations, which if not carefully observed, can directly lead to severe bodily harm or death.•Use only clean, dry and originally factory-manufactured ammunition in good condition.•Be sure that no part of either hand touches or interferes with the slide. The slide move backwards by the recoil force of •the pistol during firing and may cause serious injury.

FUNCTIONCHECKSBefore the check, ensure that the magazine is empty and there is no round in the chamber.

1. Remove the magazine. Draw the slide assembly all the way back and then release it.

It must be returned to its front position by the recoil spring. -2. Insert the empty magazine; draw back the slide assembly to the stop.

The slide assembly must be arrested in the rear position. -3. Press the magazine release lever backward and remove the magazine.

The recoil spring must return the slide assembly to its front position. -4.Pull the trigger.

The hammer drops down and hit the firing pin. -7. Remove the magazine. Draw the slide assembly all the way back and then release it. After putting the safety lever on

safe (”S”) position, try to pull the trigger.

The trigger shouldn’t be pulled back and dropped the hammer. -

HANDLINGTHEPISTOLLOADING THE MAGAZINE1. Press down on the magazine follower with the cartridge case rim.2.Push the cartridge to the rear and down the magazine lips.3.Continue until the magazine holds the desired number of cartridges.

LOADING THE PISTOL1.Point the pistol in a safe direction.2.Insert loaded magazine and check that the magazine catch engages.3.With your finger outside the trigger guard, and pointing the pistol in a safe direction, draw the slide back to the rear

stop and allow it to slide forward. The pistol is now ready to fire .

SHOOTING THE PISTOL1. Wear proper ear and eye protection.2.Aim the pistol at a safe target.3.Place finger on trigger and pull back trigger.4. Keep the pistol aimed at the target and fire further rounds as desired.5. While pointed in a safe direction, remove the magazine and unload the pistol. If the pistol has been fired until the

magazine is empty, the slide will be caught in the open position at rear.

RELOADINGDURINGSHOOTINGWhen the magazine is empty, the slide is held at the back open. Press the magazine release lever backward and remove the empty magazine. Slide goes forward position by return spring force. Insert a loaded magazine and draw back the slide and allow it to fly forward. The pistol is again loaded and ready to fire.

UNLOADINGTHEPISTOL1. Pointing the pistol in a safe direction.

2.Keep your finger off the trigger and remove the magazine.

3.Pull the side rearward one or more times to insure the chamber is empty. watch for a live round or empty case to be ejected. Pull slide rearward and allow the slide to be locked at the rear open.

4. Make sure the last round in the chamber has been extracted and ejected. Visually and physically check the chamber and the magazine well to make sure the pistol has been unloaded. Physically insert your index finger in the chamber and feel for the presence of a round or cartridge case in chamber. The pistol is now unloaded and safe.

5. Remove the magazine and let the the slide be released forward.

6.Unload and store the magazine.

7.Pick up and store all rounds and empty cartridge cases.

8.The pistol must be cleaned after every shooting session.

FIELDSTRIPPINGDo not disassemble the pistol any further than shown here. Further stripping, incorrect reassembly and non-compliance with the field stripping instruction shall exempt the manufacturer from any warranty claims for to injury or dam-age.

1.Point the pistol in a safe direction and keep finger off the trigger and out of the trigger guard.

2. Depress the magazine catch and remove the magazine

3.Pull the slide to the rear and both visually and physically inspect the cham-ber of the pistol to be sure that the chamber is empty. Also check the mag-azine well.

4.Release the slide and let it move forward.

5. Hold pistol in the right hand: with left thumb rotate dismantling lever clockwise until it stops.

6.Press dismantling lever pin with right hand’s forefinger from the right side of the pistol and remove it.

7.Pull the slide assembly all the way back and lift it’s rear end up.

8.After lifting the rear end of the slide release it forward.

CAUTION! At this position the recoil spring is under tension, so be careful dur-ing the forward movement of the slide assembly.

9. The pistol is now field stripped. Further disassembly is not required for normal cleaning and maintenance.

10.As with most firearms, reassembly is carried out in the reverse order of disassembly.

TRANSPORTATIONANDSTORAGETRANSPORTATION

For your own safety and the safety of others, always transport the pistol unloaded, decocked and under lock.•Never carry the pistol on you with a round in the chamber and the hammer cocked.•Always carry the pistol so that if you fall, slip or something similar happens, you always have the direction of the muzzle •under control.

Transport the pistol separate from the ammunition.•Ensure that you comply with all regional and national laws governing the transport of firearms.•

STORAGEWhen storing your pistol, keep it separated from ammunition, under lock and key and out of the reach of children and •other inexperienced or unauthorized persons.

Never place or store any firearm in such a manner that it may be dislodged or dropped. •Firearms should always be stored securely and unloaded, away from children and unauthorized persons.•

UCYILDIZ ARMS Inc. products will be serviced for a period of one year from date of retail purchase, for defects in materials or workmanship, at no charge to the purchaser. Be sure to retain you have your sales slip as proof of purchase date when making a claim.
