SUSPENSION AND AXLE (Front) - Free Wheeling Hub SAREMOVAL OF FREE WHEELING HUB1. REMOVE FREE WHEELING HUB COVER

(a) Set the control handle to FREE position.

(b) Remove the cover mounting bolts and pull offcover.

2. REMOVE BOLT WITH WASHER

(d) Remove the steel ball, spring and seal frotrol handle.

INSPECTION OF FREE WHEELING HUB1. INSPECTCOVER,HANDLEAND SEAL

Temporarily install the handle in the cover andthe handle moves smoothly and freely.

Install the tension spring in the clutch with the spaligned with the initial groove.

SA-12(b) Install the cover in the body and verify thahub furns smoothly.(c) Remove the cover from the body.

INSTALLATION OF FREEWHEELING HUB1. INSTALL FREEWHEELING HUB BODY(a) Place a new gasket in position on the front(b) Install the free wheeling hub body withwashers and nuts. Tighten the nuts.Torque: 31 N'm (315 kgf'cm, 23 ft-lbf)

2. INSTALL BOLT WITH WASHER

(c) Install the cover to the body with the followtabs aligned with the non-toothed portionbody.

(d) Tighten the cover mounting bolts.Torque: 10 Nm (100 kgfcm, 7 fHbf)
