About the project
In this project, you will have an awesome experience to assist teachers to do English teaching, arrange diverse act i v i t i e s and cu lt u re sharing at school. At the same time, you can get to know Taiwanese education style and culture.

About Art & ScienceArt&Science is a
educational non-profit organization which
contributes to education revolution like
blended learning and build a friendly learning environment for kids.
Eps need to talk to children only in English. Try your best not to express yourselves in Chinese. Eps can chat with children naturally and share your stories to them. Besides, it would be great if Eps know more foreign languages. In this case, you will be given the chance to teach simple words of foreign languages, such as numbers or the way to pronounce their names.
EPs have to follow the instruction of the teacher. By doing design or discussion the lessons, Eps may share their experience of learning, bringing creative ideas into the sessions. Moreover, during the classes, Eps ought to observe the learning condition of every kid and report to the teacher, so that you can modify the teaching plan to fit every student’s need.
Love and Care and Friendship
When Eps come to Taiwan, students will be viewed as your little hosts; hence, you are bound to build up good relationship with these cute faces. Here’s one suggestion for all the EPs: Kids have sensitive hearts.That is to say, EPs should open their hearts and enjoy spending time with the students. By doing so, you may have a wonderful experience in Taiwanese hospitality in return.
The founder of the Art and Science organization puts much emphasis on the weekly report EPs hand in. Take it as a motivation to urge you to record the feeling and thoughts you’ve come out during the project. These are your takeaways what makes this project worth your time and efforts. Moreover,EPs can see the change in themselves through comparing the opinions composed in the journal.
As a Lecturer
As a lecturer, there are two speeches EPs have to make. One is for the teachers in TN, and the topic is about the culture as well as educational features of your country, while the other one, traditional food preparation and sharing, is for both the teacher and the students in one learning club. EPs shall prepare the PPTs and the recipes beforehand.
About the project�
In this project, you will spend six weeks with a teacher and a few students. Having a great experience of interacting with kids. The project is about making dreams come true. We hope, through open-minded communication and interaction, we can fulfill each other’s dreams. EP will be a guider and participant of this pursuit of dreams, creating a good memory as well as meaningful experience of achievement.�
Hit it off- first week�
On the first week, all the campaigns have one purpose, that is, ice breaking. EP should introduce yourself to students and they will help you quickly adjust to life in Taiwan.�
Blueprint of the Dreams- First Week�
The most important thing in this project is the list of dreams to be realized. So the first week is also the preparation week. EP should listen to students’ dreams and come up with the timeline and order. Next, discuss with them about how you are going to make them come true TOGETHER. �
Required Itinerary-second week to the last week�
For efficiency and practicality concerns, the teacher have already listed out some things that must do to assure great experience from both sides. The following is the exact list with frequency. If EP has any ideas to add on our suggestion for modification, feel free to discuss with the teacher.�
The most important part of the whole project is about making people more globalized and people-oriented. We wish EP can bring as many thing as he or she can to introduce your own country to students and the teacher as well. The context can include all kinds of realms’ information, like geography, weather and climate, nation, and so on.�
