Each tour member must hold a passport that is valid

up to 6 months after your scheduled return.

Application forms are available at your local

Passport Office or U.S. Postal Service. Brazil

requires a VISA for U.S. citizens. Any required visas

are the sole responsibility of the tour member.

Rates are estimated for 2013. Rates are based on

the estimated airline fuel surcharge at the date of

quotation to your host. Subject to change up to 30

days prior to departure. Tips on tour not included

enrollment and payment are submitted for any program offered,

herein constitutes acceptance and agreement to be bound by the

terms thereof.

DEPOSITS – CANCELLATIONS - REFUNDS: The registration deposit

of $350 per person is required by April 15, 2012 to confirm tour

acceptance and will be applied to total price of program selected.

Pilgrim’s names not required at this time. Full Payment is due by

March 15, 2013. If full payment is not received by March 15, 2013;

the passenger will be automatically cancelled.

After initial deposit is made, $350 cancellation fee applies for any

cancellation received in writing up to July 15, 2012. $700 cancellation

fee applies for any cancellation received in writing between July 16,

2012 and December 15, 2012. $700 cancellation fee + Airline

cancellation and Supplier cancellation fees apply for any cancellation

received in writing between December 16, 2012 and March 15, 2013.

Name substitutions will be permitted after registration up to

February 15, 2013. NO REFUND is possible under any

circumstances for cancellations made after March 15, 2013. New

Pilgrims may be added at full price subject to space availability by

March 15, 2013. Receipt of deposit for any partial payment of a

tour constitutes acceptance of all terms and conditions listed

herein. TOUR INSURANCE IS AVAILABLE AND STRONGLY

RECOMMENDED. OUR CANCELLATION POLICY APPLIES TO

INDIVIDUAL PASSENGERS, AND NOT FOR MASS

CANCELLATIONS. IN CASE OF MASS CANCELLATIONS,

CANCELLATION FEES IMPOSED BY SUPPLIERS WILL ALSO

APPLY. All claims must be in writing. No refunds for services or

sightseeing rendered and not used by tour members. In the event that

departures do not reach the minimum 15 persons prior to departure,

World Youth Day in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

World Youth Day is the greatest concentration

of young people in the world. Thousands of

young people respond every two to three years

to the Pope´s call to go on pilgrimage to a city

of the world and manifest their faith in Christ.

Rio de Janeiro 2013 will host the next World

Youth Day. There have been many youth

encounters throughout the years. Specifically,

there have been eleven international WYDs in

different locations throughout the world. Rio

2013, therefore, will be the twelfth

international WYD to be held since Pope John

Paul II instituted the event on December 20,

1985.

World Youth Day 2013 Day 1: Fri July 19: NORTH AMERICA- BRAZIL.

Depart North America for Brazil. Our flight

includes meals, drinks, and in-flight entertainment.

Day 2: Sat July 20: SAO PAULO. Meet and

greet at the airport in São Paulo and transfer to

your hotel. Time at leisure in the afternoon to

explore on your own. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Sun July 21: SAO PAULO CITY.

Breakfast at the hotel. Our tour will visit the main

points of São Paulo City, including the Se

Cathedral and the Pateo do Colegio - the

foundation site of this metropolis. From the

downtown area we will tour through the

Liberdade area, or Japansese Neighborhood.

From there, we will go to one of the most

sophisticated areas of Sao Paulo, the Paulista

Avenue area, where the MASP Modern Art Sao

Paulo Museum is located with his fabulous

collection of modern Art, the biggest collection in

the Southern Hemisphere. We will also visit the

Jardins area, very famous for its famous Stores

and also for the gorgeous car stores. After that,

we will proceed to the Ibirapuera Park with its

160 hectare of area, and also home of famous

landmarks in the City such as "Monumento as

Bandeiras” and many famous buildings like the

Oca and Auditorium designed by Oscar Niemeyer

the most famous Brazilian Architet. Then a visit to

Butantan Snake Farm is included. Dinner and

overnight.

Day 4: Mon July 22: SAO PAULO-

APARECIDA- RIO DE JANEIRO - WYD. After

breakfast we check-out and drive to Rio De

Janeiro. Enroute we stop at Aparecida, home to

and named after the Basilica of the National

Shrine of Our Lady of Aparecida, the patron saint

of Brazil, declared so by Pope Pius XI in 1929.

Pope Benedict XVI delivered a speech here in

May, 2007. Continue our drive and check in to

our accommodations in Rio. The rest of the day is

at leisure.

Day 5: Tue July 23: RIO DE JANEIRO- WYD.

Today is at leisure to explore the city. This

evening we attend the opening ceremonies of

World Youth Day 2013.

Day 6: Wed July 24: WYD. Catechesis

(teaching) sessions in the morning and festival

events in the afternoon and evening.

Day 7: Thu July 25: WYD. Catechesis

(teaching) sessions in the morning. Arrival and

welcome of the Holy Father in the afternoon and

evening.

Day 8: Fri July 26: WYD. Catechesis (teaching)

sessions in the morning. Stations of the Cross - a

re-enactment of our Lord's Passion and Death in

the afternoon and evening.

Day 9: Sat July 27: WYD. Pilgrimage walk to

site of Closing Mass, evening Vigil with the Holy

Father and sleep out 'under the stars'.

Day 10: Sun July 28: WYD. Closing Mass and

concluding events. Overnight at our

accommodations.

Day 11: Mon July 29: RIO DE JANEIRO-

NORTH AMERICA. We transfer to the airport

for our departure from Rio De Janeiro to North

America - the end of our Pilgrimage to World

Youth Day 2013. (May return on Day 12).
