for the above listed airplane must be attached to the Aviation
Partners Boeing Supplement Airplane Weight and Balance Control and
Loading Manual, Document No. AP57.2-0603-UAL1, which is attached to
the basic Weight and Balance Control and Loading Manual (“Basic
Manual”), Boeing Document No. D043N520-UAL1, when the aircraft is
modified to a freighter configuration in accordance with Precision
Conversions Freighter under Supplemental Type Certificate No.
ST01529SE. The information contained herein supplements or
supersedes the Aviation Partners Boeing Supplement or the Basic
Manual only in those areas listed. For information not contained in

INTRODUCTION The data presented in this supplement is in
compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations. This data is provided
for the purpose of establishing the 757-200 Precision Conversions
Freighter Conversion aircraft weight and balance requirements. In
addition, a revised Weight and Balance Control and Loading Manual
Supplement, Chapter 2, Aircraft Weighing Report, is provided. To
reiterate the Title page of this document, the information
contained herein supplements or supersedes the FAA approved
Aviation Partners Boeing Supplement or the FAA approved Basic
Manual only in those areas listed. For information not contained in

airplane in its delivery configuration upon installation of the
Precision Cargo Conversion. With respect to any other

GENERAL INFORMATION WEIGHT AND BALANCE DEFINITIONS Balance Terms
Lateral Imbalance
The offset of the airplane center of gravity from the airplane
centerline. It is usually expressed as a moment (LB-IN. or KG-IN.)
about the airplane centerline.
Cargo Terms and Definitions
Approved ULD A unit load device that has been manufactured in
accordance to and received approval by the appropriate governmental
airworthiness authority indicating the airplane ULD meets their
safety requirements.
IATA ULD Technical Manual A document that provides essential
data on the various types of unit load devices (ULDs) in use at
present in air transportation.
Limit Loads Maximum loads to be expected in service. Limit loads
must be supported without detrimental permanent deformation or
interference with safe operation.
NAS 3610 A document which defines test conditions for approval
of ULDs per TSO-C90c.
Non-Approved ULD A unit load device that has not received
approval by the appropriate governmental airworthiness authority
indicating the airplane ULD meets their safety requirement.
TSO-C90c Technical Standard Order for the approval of ULDs. NAS
3610 is the minimum performance standard.
ULD Unit Load Device. An assembly of components comprising an
aircraft container or an aircraft pallet with nets. The purpose of
the unit load device is to enable individual pieces of cargo to be
assembled into a standardized sized unit to facilitate rapid
loading/unloading onto aircraft having compatible handling and
restraint systems which interface directly with the unit.
ULD Position A volume in the cargo compartment which is
designated and equipped to be occupied, during flight, by a ULD of
specified type.
Ultimate Load Load limits multiplied by the prescribed factors
of safety.

BALANCE REFERENCE SYSTEM BALANCE ARMS / BODY STATIONS
Longitudinal location of all airplane component centers of gravity
identified throughout this addendum will be referred to as Balance
Arms. The Balance Arm is a true measure in inches from the
reference datum 159 inches forward of the airplane nose. Balance
Arms are equivalent to Body Stations (B.S.).

LIMITS – MTW 241000 LB (109315 KG) The Maximum Certified Gross
Weights and Center of Gravity Limits are shown graphically on pages
2 & 3. These Center of Gravity Limits are for taxi, takeoff,
flight and landing unless otherwise specified, and are the absolute
limits which must not be exceeded by the airplane center of gravity
in any taxi, takeoff, flight, or landing configuration. The maximum
weight limits may be less if constrained by center of gravity
limits. Reference should be made to the basic aircraft manual,
including all supplements, to ensure that all current limits are
observed.

LIMITATIONS The following limitations must be met in order to
use the certified gross weight and center of gravity limits: The
Maximum Zero Fuel Weight limit is only applicable with the APB
winglets installed (-2 kit). For operations without the winglets
installed (-1 kit) the Maximum Zero Fuel Weight is reduced by 1,400
LB (635 KG).

AIRPLANE LATERAL IMBALANCE LIMITS FUEL IMBALANCE VERSUS LATERAL
CARGO MOMENT Airplane lateral imbalance is an allowance to account
for the lateral imbalance loading of cargo and fuel. Cargo
imbalance is permitted provided that the fuel imbalance as allowed
per Section 1 of the FAA Approved Flight Manual is restricted per
the following charts. ULD center of gravity limits are presented in
CHP-SEC 1-63-121.

ACE TELESCOPING CARGO SYSTEM – BALANCE EFFECT This section does
not apply to the B757-200 Precision Cargo Conversion aircraft. The
ACE Telescoping Cargo System has been removed from the forward and
aft hold during the installation of the Precision Cargo Conversion.

POTABLE WATER SYSTEM GALLEY QUANTITY AND LOCATION All passenger
compartment galleys have been removed from the passenger aircraft
and a self-contained hot water container with heater has been added
to the flight deck. The following table identifies the quantity and
weight of water the container can hold.

WASTE DISPOSAL SYSTEM LAVATORY QUANTITIES AND LOCATIONS All
passenger compartment lavatories have been removed from the
passenger aircraft and a self-contained lavatory has been added to

CARGO COMPARTMENTS – LOAD LIMITS MAXIMUM ALLOWABLE WEIGHTS This
section provides main deck and lower deck cargo compartment
loading. These values, when combined, are the maximum allowable
loads that can be sustained by the basic monocoque structure. ULD
sizes accommodated in the main deck cargo compartment are presented
in CHP-SEC 1-63-121. The forward cargo compartment uses bulk
loading. The aft cargo compartment uses bulk loading and contains
an E6 rack. The four basic structural limitations that must be
observed when loading payload are compartment loading, linear
loading, floor loading, and cumulative loading limitations. Maximum
allowable compartment loading, linear loading, and floor loading
are provided for the main deck and lower deck in this section. See
1-60-041 and 1-60-061 for cumulative load limitations.

CRUSHABLE CARGO CRUSHABLE CARGO REQUIREMENTS Additional
Requirements for ULD Positions Directly Behind the Safety Bulkhead
Whenever practical or prudent (when gaps in ULD positions*), the
ULD positions 1 or 2 directly behind the safety bulkhead shall be
occupied by a ULD that is loaded to at least 70 percent of its
volume with crushable-type cargo which may act as a buffer and load
spreader. Definition of “Crushable Cargo” Crushable cargo must meet
the following criteria:
No single large rigid piece of cargo. Any single-piece cargo
must be deformable. Single pieces of cargo shall be larger than 24
inches (0.6096 meters). Smaller pieces of cargo must be
consolidated into larger units which keep their integrity
but are deformable. Single cargo pieces shall have a density not
greater than 15 lb/ft3 (240 Kg/meter3).

loading is prohibited on the main deck. Not all ULD size codes are
applicable to all aircraft, and not all aircraft accommodate engine
transport. See CHP-SEC 1-62-010 to determine which ULD size codes
are applicable to this aircraft. Deflection limits shall be in
accordance with Specification IATA ULD Technical Manual 50/4. Each
pallet and net must be certified against the requirements of
TSO-C90. ULD containers shall be maintained in an airworthy

UNIT LOAD DEVICES – MAIN DECK (Cont’d) The upper deck cargo
compartment is equipped with a NAS 3610 Class II restraint system
approved for the transport of pallets. Engine pallets and restraint
systems must be designed per NAS3610 standards. The pallet package
may extend over the pallet width to the extent that the overhang of
the package will not have an adverse effect on the cargo door and
the cargo compartment lining. The minimum clearance to the ceiling
and sidewall should be 2 inches (51 millimeters). Each engine
pallet and engine stand shall be rigidly connected at least as
required by NAS 3610, with respect to applicable gross weight and
load factors. If a rigid pallet to engine stand connection is not
possible, the package must be secured to the pallet by strap-nets
type NAS 3610-2A2N, -2A3N or 2A6N. These nets must be adjustable in
order to be compatible with the geometrical form of the cargo and
their fittings must be fixed to the pallet rim so that loads are
evenly distributed. The center of gravity locations and maximum
center of gravity deviations are presented in the following
paragraphs. Maximum allowable weights must comply with load limits
presented in 1-60-005. ULD CENTER OF GRAVITY The following table
identifies the centroids of the main deck ULD’s. Main deck ULD
positions can be found in CHP-SEC 1-60-021.

MISSING AND/OR INOPERATIVE RESTRAINTS This Subject provides
procedures for ULD loading when there are missing and/or
inoperative restraints. The maximum allowed ULD loading listed in
Section 60 assumes that all equipment is installed and operating
correctly. When certain equipment is missing and/or inoperable,
these loading limits may be reduced. The following equipment
malfunctions do not require a load limit restriction:
Jammed or missing sill rollers Jammed or missing balls in a
caster tray/panel Jammed or missing rollers in a roller unit
LOAD LIMITS – SIZE CODE ‘B’ In the case of any missing and/or
inoperative restraints, the corresponding ULD position(s) cannot be
used. LOAD LIMITS – ENGINE TRANSPORT In the case of any missing
and/or inoperative restraints, engine transport in the
corresponding position(s) is not allowed. LOAD LIMITS – SIZE CODE
‘A’ AND SIZE CODE ‘M’ The following guidelines must be followed in
order to determine allowable loads for a ULD position with
restraint irregularities.
The operator determines the number of restraints available for
each ULD position. Two or more missing and/or inoperative
restraints in the same direction are not allowed
(e.g. two side restraints or two vertical restraints may not be
missing or inoperative). Also, two restraints adjacent to a common
corner cannot be missing and/or inoperable. If either of these
conditions exists, the allowable weight of that ULD position is 0
LB (0 KG).
Restraint systems fall into four categories: side restraints,
side/vertical restraints, forward/aft restraints and
forward/aft/vertical restraints. Each restraint direction is
considered separately when missing and/or inoperative restraint
equipment exists (i.e. forward, aft, side left, side right and
vertical loading.) When a missing and/or inoperative restraint
condition exists, the allowable weight is determined by considering
each restraint direction separately and using the most limiting
resultant allowable weight determined from the following tables
(Note - restraint ‘R1’ corresponds to a forward left position).
An empty ULD can be carried in any position, provided that at
least one restraint is operable in each (forward, aft, left and
right) direction. In addition, one vertical restraint on each edge
(forward, aft, left and right) is required to be operable.
