LSZS AD 2.20 LOCAL TRAFFIC REGULATIONS
1. Local flying restrictions and remarks AD in mountainous area, familirization mandatory. For familiarization refer www.engadin-airport.ch or TEL.
Aircraft ICAO APCH CAT A:- LSZS briefing not older than 12 months:- Pilots who did no landing in LSZS within the last 24 months must pass the introduction flight with a LSZS current flight instructor (FI).
Aircraft ICAO APCH CAT B/C: - LSZS briefing not older than 12 months:- Pilots who did no landing in LSZS within the last 24 months are allowed to land at LSZS if the MET report indicates
CAVOK or must be accompanied by a class rated pilot who is current at LSZS.
AD CLSD for fix wing ACFT with APCH CAT B and higher if VIS BLW 5 KM or ceiling below 2200 ft AGL. Further INFO by ATIS 136.600 MHz and phone service +41 (0) 81 834 93 24.
15 OCT - 15 APR It is indispensable to inquire about RWY conditions (SNOWTAM, ATIS or TEL).
Limited aprons08 DEC - 14 APRLimited aprons during winter period for general aviation ACFT up to 4 t MTOM: Apron is mostly reserved for ACFT of commercial air TFC as well as for general aviation ACFT with over 4 t MTOM.ACFT up to 4 t MTOM will be placed on the limited AVBL frozen snow PRKG. Ground time more than a quick turnaround of 60 min cannot be guaranteed for this reason. For longer ground time it is urgently recommended to inquire about expected PRKG possibilities by AP Authority one day before planned FLT.

LSZS AD 2.21 NOISE ABATEMENT PROCEDURES
1. Jet and turbo-prop ACFTFor deceleration it is recommended to use the entire RWY LEN AVBL. Reverse thrust shall be used for safety or operational reasons only.
APU shall be started earliest 30 MIN before EOBT and shall be shut off latest 15 MIN after reaching parking position.
ACFT of the noise category I, II & III (GEN 4.1 - Appendix A) are only allowed with special permission; requests must be forwarded to the airport authority at least 24 h in advance.

2. Propeller aeroplanesACFT of the noise category A (GEN 4.1 - Appendix B) are not allowed; special permissions only possible for air displays.
For ACFT of the noise category B (GEN 4.1 - Appendix B) only 1 take-off or 1 landing is permitted between 1100 and 1300 (1000 and 1200).

LSZS AD 2.23 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION High Visibility Jackets and Crew ID badge:
All pilots walking on the airport movement area must wear a high visibility jacket which complies with EN 471 class 2 or 3.
Persons not wearing a high visibility jacket have to use the airport shuttle or ask the ground staff or ground handling agents for assistance.
All Crew members must display their ID badge clearly visible, above the waist and shall produce the Crew ID badge upon demand by the control agents of the Airport.
