bit wrong with that Geocentric Model of the Universe idea… but then so to was Aristotle. Should’ve all listened to Aristarchus.

• Massive amount of world wide exploration. Europe flooded with new (often inaccurate) geographic information.

• Gerardus Mercator (1512-1594) produces the world’s most influential map.
