Aim High Achievers Explore at Monsanto On November 12, Achievers at the Priory site jumped on the chance to learn about agriculture, engineering, life science, technology and other career choices available at Monsanto. The morning included touring the Research Center, a DNA extraction lab, and a career panel. The dedicated Monsanto Scientists and staff gave our students the opportunity to aim high and see themselves as future leaders in a STEM field and we can't thank Monsanto enough for their support! Achievers became lab technicians and extracted DNA from strawberries, emphasizing the genetic research and technology conducted by Monsanto Scientists. Students use the seed chipper, one of the many technologies developed and used at Monsanto. Creativity and problem solving were emphasized on the tour. It All Comes Back To YOU; THANK YOU! As 2016 comes to a close, Aim High would like to thank everyone who helped to make this such a successful year! As you know, we served a record 405 students this year and our continued expansion at Villa Duchesne means this number will only continue to grow enrollment is already up nearly 60% in just two years! Thanks to you, more students are
