This paper illustrates a cutting- edge approach to streamlining data entry work through collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence (AI). This approach is based on AI-based task allocation technology and AI-based character recognition technology. The former makes it possible to automatically allocate tasks to AI and people, while the latter is used to recognize handwritten characters. Experimental results show that this approach can reduce the time spent on data entry work by 80% without degrading accuracy. This proven capability to reduce working hours while maintaining quality of output illustrates the potential of this technology to bring about innovation in data entry work.

Abstract
Under the Smart Work Innovation concept, Fuji Xerox offers valuable solutions to facilitate business process digitization and automation. This paper illustrates a cutting-edge approach to streamlining data entry work through collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence (AI).
