What is AIESEC?
AIESEC is the world’s largest student run organization,
operating in over 126 countries and has over 30
chapters across Canada. We aim to develop your
potential and leadership skills through the facilitation of
exchange. Students have the ability to intern abroad
through our ‘Volunteer Abroad’ and ‘Work Abroad’
programs. We believe that by providing these exchange
opportunities we have a chance to empower youth and
create a positive impact on society. Our focus is on
developing students and making them into proactive,
innovative, growth oriented, change making leaders.
Brantford AIESEC Laurier has been existent in the Waterloo campus
since the 1970’s. We have had the ability to change and
improve over 1000’s of lives in 35 years by sending students
on exchange and providing leadership opportunities. We
would like to do the same for the Laurier Brantford campus.
But we need your help to make this happen.
In order to deliver incredible, life changing opportunities, we
need a team of motivated individuals that are willing to help
us create an AIESEC Laurier chapter in Brantford. With the
help from the President of AIESEC Laurier and two very
dedicated members, this is the opportunity to create an
impact within the youth in Brantford. So join us in this
journey to change and revolutionize Laurier Brantford by
providing them international leadership opportunities.
Marketing Team The marketing team will be in charge of promoting AIESEC
around the campus. They will be working together to create
content, help reach out to current Laurier students, and build
relationships with campus clubs and professors.
We are looking for:
Marketing Manager (x2)
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and
implementing marketing campaigns to the Laurier community for
the AIESEC exchange programs and the Global Leader program.
This individual has to be creative, has great communication, and
willing to learn. This positon provides the ability to enhance your
creativity skills, communication skills and build a strong network.
Communications Manager (x1)
The Communications Manager will be responsible for creating
and maintaining the brand for AIESEC Laurier through various
campaigns. They will be responsible for creating relationships
with campus clubs and professors, organizing events, and
maintaining partnerships. An ideal candidate would be a person
who is a good communicator, is organized, and is willing to
expand their network. With this position you have the ability to
develop your communication skills, create a strong network,
organization, and management skills.
The Outgoing Exchange team will be in responsible for
overseeing and assisting potential exchange participants
that are interested in going abroad to work or volunteer
through our international exchange programs.
Exchange Participant Manager (x1)
An Exchange Participant Manager (EPM) is responsible for
selecting, overseeing, and supporting exchange
participants that are interested in going abroad. An ideal
candidate is someone who is compassionate, helpful, and
cares about those they work with. You have the ability to
develop crisis management skills, interpersonal and
intrapersonal skills and as well as research skills.
