Fortaleza isthe state capital of Ceará, located in Northeastern Brazil and its name is a portuguese word for Fortress. With a population close to 3 million, Fortaleza is the 5th largest city in Brazil.To the north of the city lies the Atlantic Ocean, making Fortaleza a combination of the sunny beaches, the busy and safe nightlife, the delicious culinary, the rich Brazilian culture, the very peaceful and friendly people.

Our projects

Searching for an environment of inclusive education through cultural, information and fun actions, the Gira Mundo Project allows NGOs that deal with kids and/or teenagers to promote an environment of discussion about global issues. Interns from di�erent countries will run cycles of lectures and other educational activities about relevant matters for the formation of the critics and conscious view of the youth, together with the shaping of a generation socially responsible.

Brazilian NGOs are in constant search of volunteers to o�er cultural and informative activities to its public. For that, the X4Change Project aims to bring international volunteers to provide basic English and Spanish classes and also basic computer classes. The idea is to provide complimentary education and bring a cultural environment to the public of the NGO, impacting directly the Brazilian society.

Our projects smarketingThe Smarketing Project consists in interns from di�erent countries with background on marketing and communications working on the creation and improvement of all the communication of an NGO, in order to boost the organization’s positioning. The volunteers will work on activities such as Marketing Plan development, building a visual identity, social media management, fundraising events organization and promotion of the NGO and positioning in the city.

Our projects DriblandoThrough the the theory and the rules of Olympic sports as a tool to teach life skills and values like tolerance, leadership, teamwork along with practice in the form of contests and competitions, the project contributes to the formation of a generation of young people more responsible, dedicated and at the same time, aware of their role in society.

An important thing about an internshipis definetely the multicultural experience.So, on peaks, AIESEC in Fortaleza has a team that is specially dedicated to deliver the opportunity of getting to knowmore about the city, the cultureand to develop their leadershipthrough preparation seminars, LEAD program, tours around town and trips to nearby cities. <3

As a committee of AIESEC in Brazil, we pay two fees for every person that comes to our projects (one for matching, and another for realization) to the National Board.

To preserve the sustainability of our activities, we charge a usd 50 feefrom every exchange student: - 80% of it is used to covers these national costs - 20% of it is used to logistics and support: Airport pickup, first day of work, events for the trainees and emergency costs.
