ViewThis menu lets you access the following functions:

• Collapse all from the hierarchy node where the pointer is found.• Develop all from the hierarchy node where the pointer is found• Zoom in when the pointer is on a displayed product diagram. This menu is activated and lets you zoom in

more detail on the diagram displayed• Zoom out when the pointer is on a displayed product diagram. This menu is activated and lets you zoom in

less detail on the diagram displayed.

The display menu lets you select:

• Tool bar Lets you display or remove the tool bar• Status bar lets you display or remove the status bar• Always when this option is activated, the application remains in the foreground whatever happens if the

Status barThis bar is placed at the bottom of the main window and its presence can be configured in the Viewmenu. The status bar gives the number of diagrams under the current hierarchy node in the bottom right-handcorner. It gives the name of the current diagram (in the zip if applicable) in the bottom left-hand corner.Contents



Tool bar

With respect to the tool bar buttons, the menus are used in the following order : Export under, Print, Insert in AutoCAD, Copy, Search, Zoom in, Zoom out, Develop, Reduce, Always visible, with the appropriate icons to bekept and the associated context-related legend.

Export asExport the diagrams from a hierarchy node with reproduction of the hierarchy visible on the screen in directoryform. B o o k m a r k Allows the user to create shortcuts to the drawings most commonly used or to tree nodes.

The user has selected a drawing or a node1. The Bookmark window is open: the favourite is then placed in the selected folder2. The Bookmark window is closed: the window opens and the favourite is placed at the Bookmark

Create a fo lder

You can create a bookmark

classification folder via the right-click menu in the Bookmark

window.The folder is called “Folder 1” by default. If “Folder 1” already exists, then the directory created will be called“Folder 2” and so on.You can create a classification folder in an already existing folder.

NB: you cannot create a classification directory under bookmarks (node or drawing). The option “create a folder” is disabled in the right-click menu attached to a node or a sheet.

MoveAll the bookmarks and the classification folder can be moved, except for the Bookmark s directory (tree root).The mouse is used to drag and drop.You cannot move a favourite to a folder containing a favourite of the same name.You cannot move a classification folder to place it in a node or drawing favourite.

NB: When an action is not possible, the mouse pointer takes the form of a “no parking” sign to show the userthat this move is not possible.

Bookmarks window items

Purge Bookmark sThe list of bookmark s can be re-used in a version N+1 of the CAD library.If the hierarchy of the CAD library selection tree is modified, some bookmark s may no longer exist.When the Bookmarks window is opened, all the bookmark s that no longer exist will be indicated by a “no entry”sign.

The user can choose to delete them using the “Purge Bookmark s” item in the right-click menu. This item isdisabled by default. It is enabled only if the Bookmark s created by the user no longer point towards somethingthat exists.

RenameYou can rename a classification folder, a node or a drawing by selecting it via the right-click menu.If the user uses a name that already exists in the Bookmark s tree in which he is placed, the modification is not

possible and a message will inform the user that this name already exists. NB: : The Bookmark s directory cannot be renamed.



DeleteYou can delete all the boolmark s, even the non empty classification folders, except for the Bookmarks directory.Select the bookmark to delete and use the DEL key on the keyboard or the right-click menu.Contents

Insert in AutoCAD

Lets you insert the current diagram in AutoCAD in the DWG format.

The user can configure the position of AutoCAD / AutoCAD LT on his workstation via the Options

menu under File. In this menu the user can run the AutoCAD / AutoCAD LT search on his workstationto locate the position of the software.

When inserting:

• If AutoCAD is open, then the diagram is inserted in the open session

• If AutoCAD is not open, then a message requests opening of AutoCAD

You can access this function:

• From the E dit m enu: Insert in AutoCAD

• From the Tool bar it is the Autodesk icon• Mouse right clickContents



SettingsSome options can be configured by the user from the menu File

• Language tab: choice of French or EnglishThis option is proposed by default when the application is launched for the first time. Youcan move from one language to another at any time.

• AutoCAD tab: to specify the position of AutoCAD (if the installation is not standard) as well asthe choice between various versions installed if applicable.

• Other tab:⌧ Display the initial image when the application is launched⌧ Add the current node by default on export (directory)⌧ Create by default the dwf, dwg, dxf, wmf directories on export⌧ Search for the previous version when the application is launched, for deletion⌧ Clean the user workstation at the end of the session by erasing the temporary directory.⌧ Reduce all the nodes under the node selected on activating the command.⌧ Allow inversion of black backgrounds to white backgrounds on printing

Search

By default , none of the tick-boxes are selected. The text search mode on the tree (left-hand part) is selected.

Search on directoryIf the user wants to search in a specific directory, he must select this directory in the tree and click on the“Search” button.

Global searchIf the user wants to run a search throughout the entire tree, he must click on the “Global search” button.

Search with similar spellingSearch by similar spelling is the same as text search.

Similar spelling is proposed from the word initially entered by the user, from which are removed the accents, blanks and other characters.The list of characters to be deleted is stored in a Configuration file so as to be adaptable according to thelanguage used by the software.The “?” Help button informs the user how similar spelling is obtained.

• ConfigurationIn the file “SE_CadLibrary2006.ini”, “search” section (see below) . Just modify or insert the characters that youwant to remove
