Our Services

All international students studying at AICL are encouraged and supported to enhance their skills and learning experiences which include their attendance and course progress through effective social interaction both on and off campus. AICL offers a platform for on-campus discussion groups, opportunities for students to showcase projects in multi-media formats and encourages learning through dramatization of simulated work practices. Amongst the various other campus activities and events organized and celebrated at AICL, the Multicultural week and Harmony Day are of particular significance as they truly enrich students’ learning experience and enhance their growth as individuals. Our students showcase their home-land through food and other cultural and traditional practices, thus helping each other to understand, embrace and adapt to diversity.

The main goals of organizing social programs and events at AICL are:

· Create a sense of common ground between students and enhance and enrich their learning experiences· Encourage unity in diversity to help students smoothly adapt to a multicultural society and professional environment· Emphasise the benefits of studying at AICL, which is truly a melting pot of cultures

Our teaching staffs are trained to identify students at risk and those students assessed at risk are provided with one-to-one tuition, counseling if required, and are assisted with resources and support to meet their learning objectives in order to successfully complete their course of study.Students also have access to Student Support Services staff and Welfare and counseling services to assist them to meet the requirements of their courses.

Students completing the Diploma and Advanced

Diploma at AICL can continue on to the Australian

Institute of Higher Education (AIH Higher Educa-

tion) to complete their Bachelor of Accounting or

Bachelor of Business.

AIH Higher Education provides an attractive path-

way toward completing a Bachelor. In accordance

with Articulation Agreements between AICL and

AIH Higher Education, students completing

AICL’s Diplomas or Advanced Diplomas receive

advanced standing toward their Bachelor course

and will need to complete fewer than the normal

three year, 24 unit course.

Students who have a 5.5 IELTS upon entry for an

AICL course are deemed to have fulfilled the 6.0

IELTS entry requirement for AIH Higher Education

Bachelor courses upon completion of at least 1year

Diploma study at AICL.

Course AimThe Certificate IV in Accounting qualification provides students with basic accounting skills and trains them to use system in the accounting environment, leading to careers such as accounts receivable and payable clerks, payroll clerks, bookkeepers, general clerical assistants or trainee accountants. Students will learn how to prepare financial reports and financial statements, set up and operate a com-puterised accounting system (MYOB), prepare operational budget, produce job costing information and maintain asset and inventory records.

Course Aim This qualification provides knowledge and skills to maintain care and other activities of living for people in an aged care setting, and carry out tasks related to an individualized plan. The workers at this level reports directly to a supervisor and not responsible for other workers.

Course Aim This qualification provides knowledge and skills to plan, devel-op, implement and monitor programs and services for older people. Course AimThis qualification reflects the role of individuals with substan-tial experience in a range of settings and who are seeking to further develop their skills across a wide range of business functions.
