Realignment of Combined Clubs �  Article I, Section 7. High School Team Definitions: �  “PURE” or “REGULAR” Team: - A team made up solely of players

attending the same High School �  �  “COMBINED” Team: - A team made up of players attending two or

more High Schools. The following rules apply to Combined teams and to Combined Organizations:

�  Combined teams are sponsored by a “Combined Organization” - which is an AHAI Affiliate that has been reviewed and approved by the High School Committee. The criteria for grouping players from multiple high schools together to form a Combined Organization will be: �  maximizing the “Essence of High School hockey” (based on school district,

community and geographic proximity). The first priority shall be to combine players representing High Schools within the same school district. All combined schools must be within a geographical proximity of one another.

�  ensuring the long-term viability of the resulting Combined Organization based on a projection of an adequate number of players each year for the foreseeable future (Note: viability must not be confused with competitiveness).

illness/injury, suspension �  AAA Players in HS �  HS JV only teams

�  Playing non-USA Hockey teams

�  Suspensions follow roster

�  Season start dates… �  Eligibility of HS players �  IHSA Transfer rules �  Mid-year Graduation �  Tournament team rules �  Coach at CEP Level 3 �  Screening – all coaches

and locker personnel

Rostering your Team(s) 1.  All players either Varsity or JV! 2.  Mark Varsity with a “V” 3.  Then – you may begin dual rostering 4.  Half of Varsity players must be frozen 5.  7 Up – 7 Down may differ by Division

1.  Only league games (HIT are league games) 6.  Then calculate 7 up/down (man-games)

1.  Do not exceed 6 games or the players suffer ineligibility

2.  Can be DQ’d “up to varsity” but not down to JV
