SynopsisThe comic start is about a boy call Ah Boy with big desire, sports has been his favourite hobby, but his stamina were not that good , he can’t join any

sport club. One day, he received a flyer that mention the sports club recruiting members. He then joined the sports club immediately. But in the sports club, all members are looking down and mock at him. Ah Boy was upset, he cried and he felt himself is no good in any sports. But Ah Boy

mother came to Ah Boy and talk to him, she tell her about her history and motivated him. After that, Ah Boy decided to train himself to become

stronger. He was trained by a trainer for a few months. After he recieved a lots of intensive training, he joined a sprinting competition. Everyone were

still not knowing Ah Boy participation in this compettion, but Ah Boy promised himself will not lose in the competition, he used all his strength

and stamina in the competition. At the end, he won the competition and he was so happy and nobody will look down on him again.

In the comic, a group of muscular people doesn’t want to form a group with the Ah Boy, because they assumed that puny boy tends to be weaker.

#2.Power of persuasion Power of persuasion is the process by which a person’s attitudes or behaviour

are, without duress, influenced by communications from other people.

When Ah Boy is about to give up, his mother told him her past achievement to encourage him not to give up. His mother

succeeded in persuading him to chase for his dream.

#3.Social facilitation Social facilitation is the tendency for people to do better on simple tasks with the

presence of other people.

In the comic, Ah Boy experiences social facilitation as the presence of the fans and also his fellow competitive runners compels him to do better in the running competition. In the end, he broke his previous personal record.

#4.Intrinsic Motivation Intrinsic motivation refers to performing an action or behavior for the

sake of enjoyment and lead them to be more fully engaged in a certain activity and gives them greater curiosity and pleasure.

In the comic, the action of running and motivate himself are Ah Boy’s intrinsic motivation as it is something he enjoys being

engaged in and it also provides him a great sense of pleasure and tranquility.

#5.Operating Conditioning Operating conditioning means roughly changing of behavior by the use of

reinforcement which is given after the desired response.

In the comic, the coach pushed him to his limit for his own good. He also praised him when he performed well in his training. This improve his behavior and at the end he achieved his goal.
