PGDM:AEBM offers a comprehensive curriculum that is entirely application-oriented in order to achieve this objective. The meticulously designed courses in all the 6 trimesters will be taught jointly by experienced academicians, industry experts and business practitioners using a blend of lectures, case study discussions, workshops, field research work, organisational internships and several interactive learning methodologies. The program is for 100 weeks and has a total of 102 credits.

program outcomesAt the successful completion of PGDM:AEBM, the students will be equipped with the knowledge of the functioning of export business organisations and the effective application of the management concepts and tools for achieving their respective business goals. The students will acquire communication, team-working, problem-solving, negotiation, decision-making, leadership and creative abilities to overcome the several challenges in the export business environment. They will also be trained to develop business plans for the creation of new export business ventures.

teaching and learning iIPM contributes to students through three primary activities: teaching, research and corporate training/internship. The Faculty and academic facilities viz., library, computer centre, technical lab, knowledge resource centre, placement unit, campus and academic ambience are unsurpassed by those of any institutions. The institute offers its teaching and learning transactions through lectures, video, seminar, group work, case study method, issue analysis, cyber learning, role plays, tasting (sensory test for product innovation), market survey, field & industry visits, study abroad and guest lectures. The Knowledge Resource Centre of the institute is equipped with state-of-the-art, digital language and communication skills lab, where students get a hands on experience to acquire business communication skills.

Eligibility & selectionBachelor’s Degree in Agriculture and Allied Sciences viz. Food Technology/Engineering, Horticulture, Fisheries, Forestry, Animal Husbandry & Livestock, Dairy, Sericulture, Biotechnology or Business Management, Commerce/EXIM and other related disciplines from a recognised University or Institution with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC, ST and Person with Disability) with a valid score in CAT/MAT/ATMA/ CMAT/ XAT.

Selection of eligible candidates is done on the basis of (a) prior academic record, (b) test scores, (c) writing and communication proficiency, (d) group discussions, and (e) personal interview.

l Students are equipped to work anywhere in the value chain of the Business Plan-Production, Procurement, Processing, Marketing, Sales & Distribution, Commodity Trading, Supply Chain, Retailing, Logistics, Finance, HRD, Contract Farming, Food Quality/Safety Management, Big-data Analysis/Operations Management, Service Sector, etc.

l Organizations are invited to visit IIPM campus for placement process that includes Pre-Placement Talks, Group Discussion, Written Test and Interviews.

l Organizations are requested to route all correspondences through the Career Development Service Unit.

Foreign Students
